"You are in the drivers seat." Love this! I recently had a hair stylist tell me I would like like a clown doing what I wanted, even when I showed her pictures of exactly what it was I wanted done (they were pictures of ME from 2 years before and I wanted the exact same thing done). She was rude and told me she's an artist and can't be locked into my needs because I don't know what I'm talking about. 🙁 I said fine I guess this won't work, at that point she switched gears *pretended* to listen and then, did exactly what she wanted anyway. It was horrible bland and not even remotely close to what I wanted. I don't get hairdressers who think they rule above the person who has to actually wear that hair, especially when the client shows pictures of themselves with the same style they are asking to be recreated. Great tips!

Hello Beautiful, can you do a video of skin care routine once these two products are used and not used please? Thank you for all you do. Sandy

Hey Johnny I've been doing wedding makeup for 20 years. Thank you for this video. I would also add exfoliating the lips gently, and removing vellous hair (peach fuzz) on the sides of the face and above the lip and chin… whether they are getting airbrushed or a more traditionally applied makeup vellous hair captures makeup and keeps if from being able to bond with the skin. So removing it will not only make the makeup look less obvious but it also helps to extend the wear in those areas.

If a client hasn’t exfoliate her skin , what can we do ? Is there any product to smooth the pores ? Like exfoliating wipes ? Your videos are so helpful. ❤

I think much of the info in this video can apply to lots of different situations where you have a big, important event and will be using an artist. We all use pictures as reference when we go get our hair done but i never thought to use photos for makeup. Brilliant! I hear good things about the Pixie products. That two step process you suggested might just be what my skin needs coming out of winter 🙂

Why did I just watch the whole thing attentively even though I don't even have a boyfriend let alone a fiance 😭
I've been struggling with getting a thourough face peeling for years now! I can never seem to get that "no flakes" skin no matter how hard I investigate
I'm gonna buy the products you recommend and give my face one last chance!

I remember a friend who decided to use hot wax (for the first time)to remove facial hair. She had burn marks above her lips, on the wedding day! Not a good time to experiment with new routines.

You need a "Glamour Station" ( make up studio) so your brides feel ultra special & pampered, and you make those bridal parties come to you! Also, a lip gloss that represents your area, like a local favorite cocktail flavor. Your brides & their parties will love them as favors or goodie bag items! And you get more referrals and more repeat business ! Yay!! (You can get the organza baggies from U-Line catologue!!)
You're welcome!!😇🥰😍

It may not be the business model for you, Johnny, but I do think there is a market for dating make up for single women. I took a long time to learn what really worked for me, so if I had an important date coming up, I’d book a makeover and I couldn’t find reference photos for my translucent skin ( honestly you can see the veins) or my extreme widows peak hairline, but I would bring my outfit and as for help with finding colors that flattered my skin tone, with selecting tools. It’s worth an investment for any woman just to keep her look from becoming outdated.

I love the “you but enhanced,” that’s exactly how I feel about makeup. I don’t want it to be a heavy mask. All these tips are so great!
