This is so helpful! I have a family photoshoot tomorrow and I’m so worried my makeup won’t turn out okay and I’ll end up looking like a hot mess. I don’t actually own a bb cream, but doing the base technique you mentioned with the foundation I’ll be using (Nars sheer glow) do you think it’ll still look okay going in with minimal product? man i been lookin all over for a good tutorial and all i was finding was people with nothing near my coloring… i shoulda just came straight to look on your channel. thanks so much for this tutorial. i am getting photos done and worried about how to do my makeup for it… i always have the problem where my makeup looks good in a selfie but in a photo from a distance can just look unnatural or like some kinda weird porcelain doll (not in a good way) xD;;
I tried this and it did not work at all.
Products Used:
1. Morphe vintage rose eye shadow pallet
2. Neutrogena hydro boost serum
3. Rodan & Fields redefine AM moisturizer w/sunscreen
4. Fenty setting powder in butter
5. Urban decay all nighter setting spray
6. L’Oréal infallible foundation
– I didn’t even make it past the foundation because everything started folding and beading on top of each other.
Turned out horrible before I even finished. I ended up doing my makeup the way I normally do
You’re the first person to finally answer all my questions in one video! Thank you! Now I can finally go to bed! I want to use bare-mineral original powder on top of my spf lotion that I have. This lotion melts in the face but it quite hydrating but oily.. so that specific powder melts into my face and it feels and looks so natural.. and I was so happy to find that combination for myself… and It looks good in person… but I was like oh no is this going to look bad with flash back in my photos.
You said Matt and cream look the best… and you kind of commented on powders. I know that bare minerals don’t use silica… so I think I will be fine. But I do like the products you used I definitely appreciate it. Those are products I was interested in. I think I might try them out. But I have lots of freckles and make up doesn’t stay long on my face.. so I will try layering my make up in the same way you did.. thanks a lot. Subscribed.

There have to be tips for mature skin types, had a young girl do my photos and well I didn’t feel flattering and she didn’t know what to do, you didn’t mention bronzer or maybe o missed it, but is that good…I feel like I need to shrink ma face a little lol
