Not sure if its just the difference in the times, but all the weddings I've been to of recent have been around 2 to 5 minutes. Any longer and you are losing people. Unless you are really funny
I'm getting married in 6 days time and I still haven't written anything! I just get a mind blank when I attempt to put something together. I have a feeling my speech will be pretty short and boring.

Mad to think my speech should only be around 3x longer than this advice but will feel a thousand times longer!

10 to 12 minutes is a quality time. Anything less than that means youre drunk or dont care about your wedding day
Great tips!
5 mins max id say and do toast your new bride…other than that! Thanks! I’m getting married in September. Time to get writing!
Public speaking is my biggest fear to the point as much as I want to get married I'm not looking forward to it because I have to give the speech 😅
5 years on and still valuable – Thank you!

7 minutes lol way too long
Well said.
Spot on man!
At the end you don’t toast the bride, and you don’t handover to the best man… just how many times have you given a grooms speech?! 😂😂
Thanks for that! Some great thought provoking ideas. Now to start writing!
