A good rule of thumb to me is that less means more and it’s better to be discovered instead of announced

I only wear my wedding ring and watch now. I don’t wear my college ring.
When I was a teen I had a silver chain, not bulky but stylish, with a soccer ball pendant on it. It was made of Portuguese silver.

Is it acceptable to wear a collar bar and tie bar at the same time?

Outside of either a wristwatch or a picketwatch on a chain why would any man wear jewelry (and that is a tool for telling time)?

Yes I would like to see you do a guide to men’s earrings. I would also like to know what you have to say about nose studs & nose rings.

So I have a genuine question to ask, when is it appropriate to wear a lapel pin? Or perhaps that all depends on the pin?

Societal Norms should not dictate whether you wear jewelry or cosmetics…
However….

There needs to be CLEAR separation on women's accessories and clothing, and men's.

Men should never wear the clothing and accessories of women. Such a weak man can prove oppressive and dangerous much more often than your typical manly man, because effeminate and weak men cast aside traditions of manhood such as stoicism, Protector role, and sensible governance.

A wedding ring and a good watch. Cufflinks and studs for the opera. Skip everything else. Adorn your wife instead.

Wear a wedding ring and a watch. That's it. Jewelry looks good on women but tacky on men.

I have some of these items thanks to my late father , which I have the tie retainers ( including an tie tack) , some T-bar cufflinks (one similar in appearance to an green one in this video) and some finger rings , but…were cheap ones…because any ones worth anything of major value were pawned years ago, but also I've got my own ones in my personal collection of gentleman's formal wear that I can wear on special occasions…just saying is all…

You guys rock. I love a good, solid ring on my right hand, wedding on the left. Sometimes i do an onyx pinky ring. I have several cuff links, but I keep my tie clip behind my tie. I don't like poking holes in the silk, so I keep it in the tag on the backside of the tie. Keep up the great work – you make me feel less nerdy.

Is a chain (with or without apendant) necklace, a matching chain bracelet, a watch and a ring too much jewelry?

Personally, I am pretty consistent when it comes to my accessories. I usually wear a mechanical Cartier Tank Louis in rose gold with a green Cartier alligator strap paired with an ornate rose gold jade ring on my left pinky, my wedding ring is a simple conservative gold band. I also usually wear a 5mm gold bracelet and a gold rope chain necklace holding a gold Spanish coin from the sixteenth century. My belt is most often a gold Cartier Santos belt. If I am wearing a suit I will pair this with two other rings on my right hand. For my pinky I have an antique gold Cartier ring from the 1920s, a strikingly beautiful ring with diamonds and sapphires. On the next finger I wear my family's gold signet ring.

The I.D. bracelets shown were used in addition to dog tags…Mostly they were in sterling silver, although some men had them made up in gold…the info on them could include name, rank, serial #, blood type & possibly a sentiment engraved on the back from the loved one who gifted it to the service man…the beautiful engraving done at the time itself made it a work of art…😊
