Hypothetical situation: You get married to your spouse in a community property state. Your spouse wants to keep finances separate including their checking account and credit cards. Fast forward 15 years and you find out that your spouse has run up about $50,000 in debt without your knowledge. You are now getting a divorcr. Are you responsible for your spouse's debt? You bet you are! 😠😡😢
