So…Have you ever lost a wedding or session? Let me know your worst file losing experience.
Your videos have been such a blessing to my business. Thank you!!!
I just want to say your videos are the most informative and I have been taking my notes. Thank you!!
Do you think you will update this video?
For how long do you keep information before you delete it for good and have that storage space for new event files if you ever do this?
Thank you for everything you share, best wedding photography channel out there for sure John.
Thank you for this video! You are an excellent trainer. I cant wait to start my business.
How long do you keep your photos backed up in the cloud? And do you leave ithe pictures on the passport wirless pro as well? Or will the passport be cleaned once in a while?
Love workflow videos!! So useful, thank you so much!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this informational video
Can you back up images from hard drives onto backblaze? Or does it only back up what is on your computer? Thanks for the video, it was really helpful.
Also, does it take long to backup your files? I am currently using google drive and it takes hours upon hours when trying to upload RAW images.
Thanks again 🙂
What will you all do if cloud storage fails or becomes unavailable because it actually belongs to a company not you?
As long as you have good SD cards you should be fine with one SD card slot.
Ty so much for this. So many ppl do not take backups as most important thing before you buy your camera, your computer.
So I've been grappling with this question for a while and would appreciate input (from anyone on here) When lightroom imports to a second drive, the organization of the backup is simply by backup date, not date the photos were taken, and therefore doesn't look anything like the Lightroom folder on my main storage, which IS by date taken. If I lose my main storage, would Lightroom even be able to use that backup? Wouldn't it make more sense to CLONE the main storage, like with Carbon Copy Cloner?
I never knew they had dual SD card slot cameras. 📷 🎥 📸
Very good and useful video… But I went to the back blaze site, and its not unlimited space por $5,00 its just 5 tb
With that membership thing, what if we pass away? How can our families access our photos?
Not available in europe:( do you know any other alternatives for people in europe?!
Is backblaze worth it for people abroad? I’m in the UK and looking forward a decent solution. Are there any pros/cons to them in general?
😭😭 wow dang 3 copies !… I only have one 💀 ha and my card got corrupted 😖 cause I didn’t know I wasn’t to leave it in the card for extended periods 😤.. now I’m here love the vid💕.. and wow wish I had a double card slot cam
Hey John, I loved your workflow for backing up actual weddings, but, can I ask you, what system do you use to back up everything??? Like, do you have an external drive for every year of work or something like that?
Hey John! I have a question about BackBlaze, I also have multiple harddrives that I was using BackBlaze to backup. But recently it's been showing those drives as missing. When I reached out to support they said I needed to have all of them connected at once and running constantly. Is that your experience as well? I've loved BackBlaze but I'm wondering if they changed something recently?
those are seriously important. Just paid almost 1k for data recovery for one of my largest hard drive. Wish I had viewed this before things got broken
The aesthetics of your room is primmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeee
This is the direct answer I’ve been needing. Bless
Woh, Backblaze sounds incredible, I'm gonna check that out.
How long do you keep your RAW files after you delivered final edited photos to client? Forever? Or for a year?
As Google Photos stopping its free unlimited service, check out Monument 2 that is free and private alternative to Google Photos: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/monument/monument-2-smart-photo-storage-and-organization?ref=eall2c
How long do you keep the raw files after you have delivered the gallery to the client?
Why are companies making hard drives that constantly fail on people? You can’t even find one online that doesn’t have hundred of bad reviews
Yes sir. I got to look at you for photograph knowledge because anybody who talks about data backup with a plan is a winner to me! I myself produce music so I know this is very serious stuff!
Does it store raw photos
