I’ve dogged a lot of bullets ! I am still alone, but mortgage and debt free, making $115k. Imagine getting married and adding $150k of debt you never had? That’s like 20 yrs of monthly payments!

I’m been meeting women who go on vacation. When they’re behind on their rent. I just don’t understand that logic.

As a woman, I believe in paying off my debts before I look for a relationship. Money issues cause so many issues and I would rather act like a fully functional grown woman and handle my business instead of making it a man's job. If finances are not a person's priority, then do not get involved with them.

Men, these women will expect you to pay their debt.

Women will talk about being college educated to make you feel like they are of value. Then you add up their student loan debt, their credit card debt and their debt from children and that debt will be $600,000 or more.

Men don't pay their debt off. Many men have paid their woman's debt off then she left the man after he did it.

Man I've been telling men to leave these high debt women alone. One woman I was about to date I had estimated that she was in about $200,000 of student loan debt.

#1 A mam living with his mother cant save a woman- he needs saving

#2 College is in investment for most women so they can earn money to help become a partner for the average man

Excellent point! Just like they don’t want to be bothered with you if you have child support debt and other debilitating debt, you treat them the same as it relates to Student Loan and other massive debilitating debt. 😏

No debt (except the mortgage) its hard out there.. but i had to sacrifice in order to get where i am.

It terrifies me to be with one who is not willing to do the same for a better more responsible lofe

I make way more money than my wife but a few years before we got married I made her pay off her student loans. I paid mine off too which were a lot more. I made sure she new that it was important to me.

My brother has a better credit score than me, even after going bankrupt. I on the other hand have never borrowed, only saved. Today I have substantial savings and have taken out a credit card to boost my credit score from 791 into a good credit score.

The limit on this card is a miserable #250 with interest at 39% the same as most overdraft rates. I have no intention of paying any interest or simply buying things because I can. That way lays penury, debt collectors and bailiffs.

That lesson I learned the hard way. Never again. Having a financial safety net is worth all the anxiety of threatening letters and phone calls from collections. Open a credit union account and save a little each week.

Not all cases are the same. If she has a modest student debt but you know she has been working on the side and living a frugal life style and she picked a good field of study, you know she means business. If she has a lot of debt because she picked underwater basket weaving as her field and she is partying in weekends, run away! In other words, do your research

And don't marry him if he had child support and debt of his own. It works both aways.

Excellent point! Many women will not marry a man with a Child Support or Alimony obligation, regardless of whether there’s no back pay due. Why aren’t men treating their debt obligations the same way?🤷🏾‍♂️

My husband married me with student loan debt! What’s the problem?! And I handled my business by paying on my debt to where I’m almost done. And I was a single parent before he married me. Now my children are in their 30s and late 20s. It’s the type of woman that he married. Not somebody that was down for him because of what he has. He loves how I handles my business with my children and how I am submissive to him and was able to focus after I handled my business and did right by my children and now it’s about my husband without any interruptions or anybody else! If a person a responsible to handle their business it doesn’t matter what they got going on as long as they understand ‘management’ at all levels.
