The look and color are not so attractive.. is there anything you can use to change the color?
A daiquiri with smith and cross or some other dark rum, dark simple syrup and 3 dashes of bitters is my favourite made up cocktail
Don't eat the flower "baby's breath" as it can be mildly toxic and cause vomiting
I'm always looking for an easy option too! 🙂 Nice video , thanks Cara.
Just tried this cocktail exactly as you described and made, my wife LOVED it, I thought it was good, especially in warm weather, not a cold winter drink
My sister was diagnosed with cancer and died within a year. At a memorial for her, I was asked to come up with a special cocktail to toast to her memory. She loved gin, and raspberries, and it had to be something I could mostly prep ahead of time and serve to many people. This has become a summertime favorite for many of us.
I present Christy’s Cocktail:
45 ml juniper-forward gin (Tanqueray, etc)
15 ml Chambard
7.5 ml lemon juice
7.5 ml rich simple syrup
Stir in rocks glass, top with club soda, garnish with a few raspberries
You lost me at pineapple.
Super interesting one!
Always a delight watching your videos Cara. Keen as to come by Bomba soon and have a wee drink with you 🙂
💜💛
for my wedding i made a "planter's punch" using homemade tepache, lime juice, sugar and a special rum blend, garnished with nutmeg. i made each cocktail myself bc it was a very small covid-era wedding party but it was a blast and ppl enjoyed it 🙂
Sounds very nice, I'll have to try it. Although I'm not sure about a baby breath garnish though… its mildly toxic from memory and shouldn't be put on food.
What cocktail will you be serving at your wedding?
My signature one in late summer is a sour I called « Kerman on a Mission » :
– Cognac 1,5 oz
– Apricot Liqueur 0,5 oz
– Kerman Pistachio Orgeat 0,5 oz (but I guess regular orgeat would also work !)
– Lime juice 0,75 oz
– Egg White
And grate pistachios on top for garnish 🎉
Thank you Cara, the theme of this cocktail caught my eye. But, what is the specific Amaro? I have Aperol, Campari, Averna, Mellitti, Montenegro and Carpono Antica formula. I will be getting a Nonino soon.
However, there may be a wedding in my family this year and the recipe gives me ideas. Please let me know what would be the best Amaro. Nick from York
Have to try sounds great
Try saying that name after three of them I bet it just gets easier and easier
I love your expression after taste, which double makes me want to try, this! Thanks Cara 🥰 Cheers
