I shot my first wedding a few days ago, as a backup photographer I was sent to the grooms room. It was horribly awkward, cause he didn't speak a word of English (French), the room was UNBEARABLY hot, and he had NO friends or family member with him (not even on the whole wedding day) – He was so uncomfortable, so shy and in a matter of 5min he was DONE getting dressed, I got 3 not so good images 🙁 Yes, only 3, cause in I had to help him with his cufflinks and his jacket, etc – and he just wanted out of there …not that there was anything wrong with me, he just didn't want to do poses and stuff – how would you have handled that situation???
Hi Michelle. With a week to go and having been asked to do a Groom Prep shoot at a friends wedding, this video has given me a quick but valuable insight on how to approach it and what to look for. Thank you so much; my friend is so gorgeous and I'm so humbled that she has asked me. With your help, I feel more confident in getting better shots for them.
