My venue had tips built into the overall cost. I still felt bad that of all my venues I forgot to tip the bar at the of the night. I got everyone else but forgot them. I was only able to tip like ~$50-100 for most of my people but wanted to make sure that they were taken care of and knew how much I appreciated their help.
Unpopular opinion, don’t tip people who set their own prices 🤷🏼♀️ I’m so tired of everyone and their mom thinking that they should get tipped. Servers literally need tips to make up for shit wages. If you are setting your own prices just do us all a favor and charge what you want to make.
I'm so glad my wedding was on the download super cheap only cost me three grand. Now with that tipping for me personally is did they do what I asked that gives you basic tip. Did they go a little above and beyond that's extra tip depending on what was provided. Now let's say I see there is one server or one person in a group that did exceptionally well yes I will tip that person more. I don't care if it is a group or a vendor if one employee is doing more workers doing a better job they get better pay now I do look at a hole if I see that there's other people that are doing work on the back end don't get a tip too because that's just as much work or more so.
💀I love your videos but i don't ever want to have a wedding 😭lol
Thank you 😊
i hope for the love of God that the tip culture doesn't arrive in Germany. It would mean that we've hip rock bottom.
No tip… Unless you live in a weird country.
Am I the only one who feels like tipping someone who sets their own prices is very different from tipping the poor server at Applebee's who makes less than minimum wage, has a crappy manager,, constantly hears about corporate making things even worse, and probably just got screamed at because the kitchen made a mistake that they didn't know about? Like, it's well known in the US that, unfortunately, servers don't make anywhere near a respectable amount for the work they do. If you're setting your own prices, that's significantly different, at least in my opinion.
You can always ask beforehand if your tipping method is okay with them. Just communicate and be honest with people.
lysm ur a life saver
America's tipping culture is abysmal
You should be paying the fee for the service or item etc and that should cover employees paycheck properly to negate the need for tips to cover the cost of living comfortably AS A MINIMUM
tips should be an occasional thing when a job is done especially EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZINGLY well
It should be like "omg guys I got a tip today!! I can treat myself extra" not "I need everyone to tip at least something so I can get rent AND food this month"
How about a belated tip (kind of like a late birthday card)?
The only place that I feel a tip is a necessity is if you’re out to eat at like a restaurant in America because servers don’t get paid full wage they depend on your tips other than that this lady is right tips are a nice extra amenity
Dont get married. Stay single its to expensive people
im so glad im not american
I'm so glad I live in a country that doesn't have tip culture. o_o
