Personally As an American I can definitely say I know zero women who would wear the makeup that you say an American woman wears. Maybe 25 years ago 30 years ago I don't know but definitely not now.

From what I've seen, a bold lip is common in Europe and Americans tend to opt for a sparkly eyeshadow, usually gold. Now, this is just my observation, but that's what I've noticed is extremely common.

As a French citizen I can confirm right side, but we French like lesser makeup than that. As a born New Yorker I can’t confirm left side, not enough makeup.
