I don’t know why it looks so pleasing in videos. We stayed in Maldives for a week in 4 different locations. Boring as hell, things seem repetitive in Maldives and expensive as hell. Cancun Mexico gives similar vibes at much cheaper prices. For the money we spent in Maldives. I rather recommend people to go to places like Dubai or Switzerland. You can do and see different things everyday instead of just ocean and beach it’s very few activities. Don’t waste money on this useless place people.
