Lol the guy was like "if you like your hair long with one layer, wear it like that and ignore what I say," and was so friendly throughout the video and simply recommended layers for women who feel their hair is thin/flat. All hair stylists WANT YOU TO CUT YOUR HAIR so they have business – short hair/layers needs massive upkeep and maintenance.
STOP telling women to cut their hair after 50. Long hair is beautiful in every age. If they want short that's their preference but it doesn't mean women can't look sexy either way. Haur is not about age.

I think that that looks style, like any other, can either drag someone down or lift them up depending on their face shape and features. It can look drab on young people too.

I prefer to take advice from the woman in the mirror- I know she has my back 😉 Take any and all advice with a grain of salt. Regardless of whether you like this guys ideas- you are responding and THAT is what YT cares about. It is sad that there are so many people that just cannot make decisions for themselves- Yes, layering is a OLD TECHNIQUE that helps those with thinner hair. BOTTOM line? Nobody CARES what your hair looks like. use your time attending to things that matter 🙂

I'm a hairdresser. You can have long pretty hair! Not long Grey hair! No one wants to see long Grey hair. Clients that come in and just want to be grey…😢. I feel you gave up! Your husband doesn't want to look at a wife with Grey hair at all!
I have extremely thin hair and I'm 52. Stylists always have put layers in and its awful. It actually made it look even thinner and had to take a long time to style. It one length and shoulder length. Its so thin I add hair pieces or use barettes and such. It also helps cover bald spots and creates fullness that wouldn't happen if layered. I wish I would have said no to layers 30 years ago.

The long hair style on her is gorgeous and makes her look so much younger. Your advice is super bad. People think I'm 35 and I'm 61 with super long hair. I keep it shiny and healthy and seriously it's so youthful and feminine. I think you may be a scissor monster and want to cut everyone ugly. Shame on you
