Sidebar: Other potential problem with enlisting the help of friends &/or family at any point is that if for whatever reason they don’t complete their respective jobs properly there will likely be some wounded egos to be dealt with if & when they are confronted with their mistakes which can easily happen even when such loved ones take their roles seriously ime. Had that happen with my DIY invitations for my first wedding & found myself horrified when both my MOH & I (not in that order) discovered that all 50+ of them were printed crookedly as in obviously slanted 🤦♀️🤬 ~ Could not being myself to confront the best man who had printed them (whole other can of worms right there across the board so I definitely couldn’t afford to open that particularly unpleasant door anyway) so I begrudgingly swallowed my fury that he would be so completely uncharacteristically careless that way (read: exact opposite of his reputation which even I could honestly attest to otherwise) & equally reluctantly sent those out as originally planned.
