11:57 i love this dress, it looks like a Queen card
I want a Lengha
You wore lehenga and gown
British American here- if that’s a British wedding dress, I fear for mine because that’s kind of outrageous. I just want the simplest dress possible and that is not it.
As a Native American, I thank you for including us. Please do more videos on wedding dresses from around the world.
Say louder for your peoin the back!
The westernized white dress is not and has never been the default or the standard!
I learned a lot! Thank you for highlighting all of these different wedding dresses around the world
I honestly think it would be fun if you guys also did an episode highlighting the wedding dresses of different religions, not just cultures 👀✨
I loved my wedding. However I truly & deeply wish I had been able to slow down & just enjoy it. That I’d had people just do what WE (me & my husband) how we wanted it…AT the very LEAST once I was there putting my dress on thru the reception. And that people didnt hassle me all night saying when/what to do &/or asking constant questions. The bride & groom should be able to focus on making memories & interacting/thanking their guests. If we get to renew our vows in 2yrs on our 25th wedding anniversary I hope I can do all the planning beforehand so we can just enjoy the day. We got married at 18 so we will only be 43. Which is getting married so young(no I wasn’t pregnant & it wasn’t arranged)was part of the problem. Many didnt want it to happen. Also…stress for me was extreme that year. February my parents divorced, May we graduated high school & June we got married. So yea. Plus my parents had me pretty late in life & my MIL had my husband at 18…& her mother had her at 19. So my parents are literally the same age as my husband’s grandparents & my in-laws barely older than my half brother who was 17 when I was born. The clash in generational mentality was rough on to of our young age & the fact my FIL was against it thus made trouble whenever he could. Plus we planned the entire wedding in 4 months as we got engaged the weekend following Valentine’s Day. Was still amazing with my groom & hundreds of family & friends.
Tunisia: Kmejja (means dress)
Indonesia: Kemeja (J as Jay not H, means Shirt)
The opening and on the right of the thumbnail is Minangkabau West Sumatra Indonesia, both my parents recent root and birth place, both of their own royal palaces.
Yes, I am a prince.
I maybe never have a wedding, never be a bride. God has different story for me, far from my dream and expectation. Oh God.. Why..?
I have never seen anyone in sweden wearing that for their wedding??? Tbf I don’t live on the country side.
The dress from England is not an English dress but a dress for the traveller community which is not English.
the dress from ghana! so simple and so colourful !
thats cute, I love that there's such a bunch of variety, thats nice
hey Beryl, I have a set of settlers of catan on my shelf too
Beautiful work. Thank you for this special episode ❤
They’re all so gorgeous!
India is not a country but a continent itself. When it comes to wedding every community has their own style. A Panjabi wedding is different from a Kasmiri, which is diferent from Kerala and is different from a Bengali one.
We’re sinners, and the wages of sin is death. GOOD NEWS: JESUS TOOK OUR PUNISHMENT ON THECROSS FOR US SOWECANBE RECONCILED W/GOD
Wonderful. Please do more countries wedding day traditions of dresses.
hello.. iam from indonesiaa… ❤❤
The Ghanaian dress is definitely more of a wedding guest dress but its nice too.
If women are so highly respected in Indonesia as the woman claims, what would happen if an Indonesian woman were to take off her hijab? No doubt called a slut or worse beaten. Brainwashing is a helluva thing. The best way to keep a slave a slave is to convince them they are free or highly respected/valued.
I have no clue what to wear for my wedding and I keep watching videos to get an idea but everything is beautiful and every culture is so unique. There’s no real expectation for what to wear around here as far as I’m aware so I’m honestly thinking about making it myself if I can. I might just have to make a list of everything I love from all over the world and try to narrow down what I like because it’s hard to pick something when I could pick almost anything 😂❤ there’s too many pretty fabrics and decorations and I can’t imagine what I want
India ≠ lehenga
Northern India= lehenga
Not southern India.
I adore garments made in India. Absolutely stunning and breathtaking. Not just the wedding garments.
we have really exotic weddings in Africa
I love and hate the fact that everyone around the world knows what Indian weddings are like, but it's always the north-Indian ones and never the south.
Indian wedding dress is saree ❤
Im Native American & its rare to see people show love & appreciation for us and our cultures so thank you for that 💋🇺🇸💞
Omg, the white UK dress is so big and gaudy.
the one with the mask was the coolest thing ive ever seen
If you ever want something unique for a video regarding weddings, look into Yemeni Jewish weddings. They’re extremely elaborate and cool!
