My brother is a photographer/videographer and his first comment about my sisters wedding was โmake sure the workers are fedโ.
Itโs not just about them not being able to store a lunchbox. It also gives them a chance to sit down for a moment and have a break bc they donโt get breaks. And theyโll remember it when editing your photos/videos ๐
Ok, I might be a horrible person but I always wonder about that "feeding vendors" point. All of us mere mortals bring lunch boxes to work. It is a very rare occasion that workplace provides lunch/dinner so why should we do that for people we hire? If I hire a painter for 2 days, I'm not expected to provide lunch for them either. And for some people, 2 photographers, dj, coordinator etc. might add 1/4 more to their food budget.
I helped to the wedding set it all up. the tables, the plates we even folded the napkins. We werenโt provided with food for us to eat one small shredded pork barbecue sandwich that was it. I had a massive migraine for not drinking enough water.
