hi I'm getting married next year in 2025
There may be good advice after the first 3 minutes, but I can't watch this. Go buy a dozen extra white dresses? Pick a date and do a down payment (no honey, they're not usually refundable) before he proposed? Really?
Very practical and good tips for all faiths, cultures, and people, thanks for sharing! 👰♀️😍
After you said 10 white dresses and 6 bride sweatshirts I knew this wasn't for my income level. 😂
I’ve been watching you for years. I got engaged 2 days ago and I’m so grateful for videos like this.
I was so embarrassed, asking if I could bring a plus one when I realized it wasn’t that type of wedding.
Great ideas and advice. Two suitcases is perfect
I am not getting married and I feel so prepared now. 😂
No. One tip, the most important piece of advice is IT IS YOUR WEDDING AND YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT AND INVITE WHOEVER YOU WANT TO.
Hello! Love your content! I don't know if it's only me but the type of music on the background of your videos (in general) makes it harder for me to focus on what you're saying!! Just think it'd share the feedback in case I'm not the one! Xoxo 🙂
I think the best thing I could have done (not married yet, but our date is august 18th!) is find a venue that REALLY has a package deal. My venue includes all food, alcohol, cake, linens, silverware, furniture etc in one price. All I need to buy are florals and music. And that has saved me so much stress so that I can put more time into finding my dress, and picking the best price for everything else. For reference because I know everybody is asking but nobody is coming out with an answer, my wedding package is $15,000. So expect to pay upwards of $20k for your wedding!
My dream wedding is Brooklyn's. It was so beautiful. Its like a dream. I need that wedding
Neither sisters are going to stay married to their partners I give Bailey less than 15 years and Brooklyn only 10 or less 🤷🏻🙃
Thank you for this video! I am newly engaged and I am looking for any advice I can get. If you could do more wedding videos PLEASE do! 😊
My something going wrong was our MC's sleeve on his suit jacket catching on fire from our candles at our reception. This happened when he was announcing our arrival! Luckily it was put out quickly and my husband and I are celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary in March!
It was definitely a dramatic entrance that everyone remembers, just not for the right reason, lol!
I don’t have a partner, haven’t had one ever since high school, yet I know what dress I’m going to wear, have been eyeing on like 2 venues, my wedding theme, who I want in the wedding, what food I want in the wedding even couple ideas for honeymoon😂 obv most of this will change as years go by and what kind of partner I chose to marry but it’s quite funny how I can married right now and have everything ready😂
I’m getting married in a few months and still have so much to plan. This was so helpful, thank you!
this is actually super helpful 😀
I got married July 4th 2021 and we had our venue booked before he proposed as well. Highly recommend to get the date you want! We booked it Labor Day 2020 and he proposed September 25th 2020. Definitely do a private dinner!!! I promise you will actually get to eat, see your spouse and no one will miss you during dinner.
Definitely agree with the plan time with your spouse! I had a change in venue from wedding to reception and in between, my husband and I planned to go get git chocolate together (we got married in winter). We actually ended up just hanging out at our apartment and opening the gifts that were already there and it was SO nice to have a couple hours together just us.
Also yes just accept bit everything goes according to plan. We had a blizzard hit us the night before!! Half of our extended family couldn’t make it cuz the canyon got closed down and our actual wedding got pushed back an hour cuz we had to wait for people who could still make it to get there! And we were already have a very small wedding (like 50 guests but only 25-30 made it). But our focus was each other and we really did what WE wanted, no one else so we loved our wedding. And people remember our wedding cuz we got married on a Thursday in a blizzard so it wasn’t convenient 😅 people still talk about it! 😂
this was amazing
And don’t go to your final dress try-on by yourself. I didn’t have anyone with me to zip me up or do a final look at my dress after it came in, so I just tried it on quickly without zipping it up all the way or getting someone else’s view of it, and I signed the paper to take it home. Lo and behold, I went to my bridal photos and the dress was the wrong size. It ended up being too late to fix it before the wedding, and I just had to squeeze into it and feel uncomfortable the whole wedding day.
I'm at the venue stage. I looked at two places booked up a year out, saw one place that wasn't the vibe we're going for, so we're contacting two places. Early is definitely good, because I'm looking at golf courses, and now that they're closed for winter, it takes longer to get a reply. I should have started looking earlier, but narrowing down places that offered gluten free catering at the venue took us too long.
A lot of these don't apply to me as I'm making my own wedding outfit and doing something less traditional. I'll be wearing it a lot before since I'm working on the pattern right now, and making sure that fits, and it takes a lot of wearing things around to see how they fit properly. We're also doing no dancing and no alcohol at the reception, so we're hoping that will be less stuff to worry about, and more us.
So beautiful to watch, I was in a beautiful marriage before my now ex wife left me,i still love her and most times i can't stop thinking about her, i am doing my very best to get rid of the thought of her, but i just can't, i love her so much, i don't know what i am bring this here for, i can't stop thinking about her~
.01 to 7Mil!!!!
y'all I love your videos so much!!!!😩
Did you know that the bride and groom not seeing each other on the day dates back to arranged marriages, and they weren't allowed to see each other in case they decided to back out
me watching this at 14:
My coworker scheduled herself an hour worth of cry time in her itinerary
Thank yall for the great advice. As far as I know I'm not getting married anytime soon lol. Also I've heard from other brides to have a day of coordinator! They said it literally helped them so much ! But Brooklyn how did you deal with having your period on your wedding day and honey moon?
In terms of price, I think it’s also fair to note that Brooklyn got married this year when inflation is super high and it may have played a part in the weddings being similar in price.
In this video with them both wearing white and Brooklyn’s hair tied up they look super similar. More than normal
(Yes I know they are twins but they usually look so different in their own styles )
Literally planning my wedding now as I’m watching this! Glad this came up on my YouTube binge lol these are all SUCH good tips ❤
I’m engaged, thank you for the tips, I’m getting married next year, this will definitely help me!!
we couldn't be more oppostite. dated 10 years, got engaged, engaged 7 months now, no idea what im doing. you guys were SUPER prepared lol
I am not engaged or married, but I have friends who are, and it's ok to be engaged and for you to take time to plan you don't have to be like ok I'm engaged wedding dress, venue straight away, but I do guess it does depend on when you get engaged, but go with the mentality that you can take your time to plan after getting engaged or if you know you'll be engaged soon.
love the way Bailey listens and is so attentive to Brooklyn <3
does anyone have any tips on what to do with your phone on your wedding day?
im a single 22 year old eating this video UP. thank you for the realness besties
I had an eventful wedding. My stepfather passed out in the parking lot at my reception and was rushed to the hospital. It was stressful but he ended up fine by the end of the night. Love this video!!
Small wedding….. I had like immediate family 20 people or less.😅 80 seems like a medium wedding to me. I love the moment where they both looked at the spider saying the same thing 😂🕷️
We went super small. Immediate family only ceremony and about 60 people at an outdoor reception with cake and pizza and music and yard games. $1500 later and I recommend that to EVERYONE. You hear too many horror stories about people going into debt for a wedding day that brought them nothing but stress. And bonus, our guests loved it too, because it didn’t have any of the stuffy stuff that’s boring for guests. Everybody wins.
