MY (UNPOPULAR) OPINION THE KNOT'S WEDDING CHECKLIST // VERY HONEST

I feel like I have a lot of experience with weddings & now that I’m on the other side of the wedding world (as a bride!) I feel like I have a different perspective when it comes planning for my own wedding than most brides do. I feel like this crazy world that we live in makes people believe…

I have been a guest to a catholic wedding where I had no idea what was happening. The saving grace was the priest would announce what song we were about to sing, motion for the guests to sit or stand. I feel if you really want to cut that cost out of not printing the entire ceremony layout, talk to the priest and have them give cues to the guests. Loved this video and agree with you on most things!

I have found the Knot checklist to be helpful here and there, but some of the things are just ridiculous!

From someone that worked at Target for a decent amount of time people register WAY to early these days. We end up with soooo many people registry too quickly and then everything they picked gets clearanced for the next season and you get stuck with all the random crap that was a mores stylish item. This goes for baby and wedding both, do it a couple of days before you send invites so that you're sure most of the items will still be available when your event comes up.

I loved this video so much and I'm not even engaged yet! 😂 Loved hearing from a photographer's point of view especially since you do weddings all the time, thank you for sharing this! I agreed with a lot of the things you said here and think the app is a little much at times hahah

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has these opinions. I have been engaged for just over a year and a half and getting married in about 6 months. I ended up deleting my wedding app because I found that it was overwhelming by dealing with it. I let the girls pick out their own dresses, the only thing I requested is their all the same length and the same material on the bottom. In my time planning the wedding I have only had one breakdown!

I’ve honestly been stressing myself out planning the “perfect” Pinterest inspired exit but after this you’ve totally made me realize I don’t need to do that 😂 cause my family would have the exact response you described!

The timing of this one was PERFECT!!!! My daughter is in the very beginning phase of planning her wedding and I had asked her to look up a check-list to follow just a few days ago! Are you a mind reader?? By the way, I have something that David might like but I'm not sure if it is something you would feel comfortable with it as a gift so is it possible to contact me with an email address? I could tell you about it and send pictures.

What a great idea for a video. I'm sure this will be very helpful for brides-to-be!
