My nick name is Jamie. Pretty cool. I'm a Follower of Christ, because the evidences are there but with that in mind, I find it to be amazing that Yaweh instituted the first man and wife union and even more that the Father saw fit that man would be accompanied by a woman. This although I don't agree with humanism I think this is a great ceremony. Congrats 4 years later!

This was so lovely. Probably the first non-religious wedding I've ever seen and it's hard to find good examples. I'd love to know more about your decision to go that route, i.e. if you are religious or not. I'm an atheist so you won't offend me either way 🙂

Jamie & Megan, I watched your reception video shortly after it was first posted. And I shared it with others so they could be as touched with emotion as I. I listened to it more than once and would "visit" it every once in a while because it spoke so deeply to me about the quality of your new journey together. Tonight, it just happened to be "recommended" to me again. This time there is so much more to watch and enjoy. I cried the first time, but now you've made me stay up very late and cry and cry so much more. Happy tears! Joyful tears. Couples like you keep filling this world with reasons to keep believing in love and marriage, honor, and respect for one another and your families. I hope you add beautiful babies to your lives to cherish and celebrate with the world. We need good, decent, gracious, and kind parents to raise lovely children who grow into solid adults who will help hold this hurting world together. Clearly, you will be just those kinds of grounded parents.
The beauty of your love gives me so much hope for your lives together. Your personal vows and promises to one another were so heartfelt, tender, and honest. I do believe this is the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. So much thought and creativity went into it. I could hear you didn't plan just for a wedding, but you planned for the marriage more importantly. Thank you for sharing it with all the world to see. You've taught some young people what true love and commitment look and sound like. You've given a gift by sharing your precious day with us, and I dare say you've set rich examples of how to start a healthy marriage.
I feel like I want to share in your family just to witness all the blessings you'll be given in life. Now I'll have to make time to watch all the rest of the videos. Maybe you can start to write a book for your children – "How the Music of Our Marriage Became Lullabies for Our Little Ones."
