Thanks for all the helpful info!
Thanks this is what I need for my speech
Why do you think your audience would want to know the details of your specific experience? It's just your experience. I'm not sure that I want to spend time on this information. Your presentation is not a TV show. I just want to listen to the message you deliver. It's controversial and depends on the audience. For example, scientists don't expect to listen to your stories.
Loveely
You failed to capture my attention in the first minute…. boring…..
Why would I ever tell anybody my secrets. I have nothing left to offer anyone so auto play can attempt to decive and manipulate me all it wants i will not attempt to talk to large groups of people. Because everyone wants to hear about a man that lived i poverty his wole life. Stupid
Are these speeches at a party or social event? I've been in business for 44 years and don't think I've ever heard one of her 10 openings in a professional setting.
That was incredibly helpful!
All so great! This made me excited for my next meeting
Thanks I used one of your tips and people watched me very excited not wanting me to stop with my stories. Thanks alot🎉. Sharing
i can be polite if i want

Mam thanks a lot your short video. All the best.
In grad school, i started my speech with the word 'vagina'..
the problem with innovative ? it's transitory – by the time it appears on a YouTube video it's probably more stale than fresh, or bandwagony at best. I agree your examples of bad starts are all very bad and used frequently. But I would argue, as both a professional presenter and audience member, that the fake attempts at personalization are as off putting as the bad examples. Also please acknowledge that some people find the personalization a touch creepy. Perhaps best bet is to walk to the mic with a very silly walk and start by asking "any Flying Circus fans in the room ?" OR start by thanking gravity and the company's compulsory attendance policy. Anything other than the list of 10 here unless you Steven Wright them and say "I will never forget the time I …… Oh wait that was someone else.
KUDOS Deborah, KUDOS indeed!!!
Thanks so much for this. I really gained a lot. You help me correct my mistakes while making speech
Thanks for all this tips… So many things we have been doing wrong.
Great advices. Do you have a video on how to professionally introduce yourself in a company meeting when you're being introduced as a new employee who just joined? Thanks
1.46 time stamp has the openings
Give it a thought before u start uttering…
Have confidence…
And u have to Show the same…
Is she reading something? She is staring at something
I disagree. It's always been more about substance than flair. These glib talking points don't fetch you much beyond a few applause and admirations but only temporarily. People at large appreciate doers, not talkers. Don't forget – empty vessels make the most noise.
Completely disagree Poopypants or Poopypanties in this case. You should always say "good morning", good afternoon etc. It is polite and it takes less than two seconds. Good manners are the hallmark of a good upbringing.

I still remember the days of me wanting to be a super saiyan but look, I'm here in front of you now as your project engineer.
Always selling something
Always selling something
You can alternatively start with "good morning" then follows up with these sentences that will act as a hook to catch the audience attention but over using that will likely make you look as a mountebank who's got the chutzpah. Use a hook but not a net
Thanks for this wise talk
just drop your pants and spread your asscheeks.. 100% attention graber
How to commence the speech
Wow❤
You know what? I had to skip 1:40 of this video looking for the openers. Tip to the speaker: put the important content first,,,,,because time of the viewer is really limited.
Very true!
My teacher said to keep it simple
She lost me within the first 30 seconds.
(Using your deepest voice): In a world…
Nonsense!
