Plan Your UK Wedding For Under £15k
Plan your UK wedding for under 15k! Let’s breakdown that 15K Wedding Budget and work out what that looks like? Having done a recent survey, the majority of my Bride Academy brides have a budget between 15K – 25K for their wedding. So I thought this was a great opportunity to break this budget…

We are getting married soon and I feel like there’s no shame in getting married at a registry office with a reception in a lovely venue. We’ve changed from an all inclusive venue to a registry office and reception wedding, both venues are stunning and cost us less than £2.5k. We’ve not skimped at all – we’ve got a photo booth, singer, transport, cake, photographer, videographer and flowers, carvery meal with drink’s included for 80 guests with a graze table reception for 110. We are paying for bridesmaid dresses and hair and makeup for our bridesmaids, both wedding dresses are being bought by our mums but we are paying for everything else ourselves. Wedding is on a Saturday in autumn and our total cost is coming in at £12k. We would’ve really struggled to do that with an all inclusive venue at a barn, stately home or hotel. Some registry offices are stunning – our one is in a park with lots of photo opportunities. It’s not any less of a wedding if it isn’t all inclusive and in one place.
Hi I'm Sheridan from Melbourne Australia we are getting married in Oct which is spring here you have been a great help I would also recommend people don't buy dresses online to save money I got a $600 Aus dollar dress from USA gave them my measurements they sent me the dress 1 size to big and would not exchange it for the right size they said will give you a discount off the dress if you want to buy a new dress I said no they would not altor it ether so I've just paid a dress maker $550 Aus dollars to resize it and put hem up and sleeves in so not happy but dresses brand new in Aus are really expensive but I'll know next time we are having a beach wedding which dose not cost much with an arber and chairs all my flowers are fake except my bride bouquet and my throwing away bouquet which I'll get the day before from the florist I'll just grab a nice $50 much and a $30 wrap them in ribbon myself won't even message it's for a wedding as they will yank the price up and my 2 bridesmaids dresses were $50 each just formal blue dress beach themed and the reception in a buffet style sitting it's cheaper the most costly I found was the reception limo and photography and videography ❤
£15,000 😭😫
Thankfully I’m American and all my bridesmaids are American so the tradition is they pay for their own dresses 😅. My partner (British) will just have one official groomsman so we are really saving on outfits! I hate that venues are so expensive though, I had hoped for a very pretty venue but can’t afford that 😔
Omg I heard WIX as Wickes and was so confused 😂
Okay so I saved £5k by having a package wedding with a venue that provides the food and drinks included in the £5k cost. I've saved a lot of money by doing a lot of shopping around. My brand new made to measure dress will be £220. 🎉🎉
Brilliant video but God this has depressed me haha. The realisation that I'll probably only be able to afford a binbag dress in the local park.
the sound is not good I am quite disappointed
There is a beautiful Hall to Hire for your event in Coventry

This might sound silly but what happens if you don't tell a venue that you're hiring out for a wedding and say it's a party instead? The price shoots up as soon as you say the 'w' word!
Hi Lauren! Loving your informative videos – was wondering if you had any recommendations for a wedding venue with beautiful stone banisters outside, (Similar to Botleys Mansion in Surrey) thanks! x
Watching this before I go to a wedding open day in a few days 😍
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Useful Information
👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you for this video
Thank you for all the videos! I’m not even engaged yet but love all this knowledge 🤍
Thank you so much for this video! Breaking down the budget like this serves as a great starting point; gives an idea as to how much we could be spending in each category and how we can modify accordingly.
What would you suggest as a more filming type skin applications? Have a new YT channel and working with lighting is a challenge. Would be great to get your feedback👍🏽
I love your videos. I’m glad I found you🤍
Hi there! Not even got a ring on it [yet]…hoping to next year as my boyfriend & I have talked about getting engaged…but love watching your videos! They’re really informative and I think I can speak for every one of us, I just love watching wedding related content. Would you be able to re-visit this and film suggests for even less…say between £5K-£10K. We don’t want a massive blow-out wedding (if allowed, who knows) – about 25 to 30 guests – and we don’t want to break the bank either. Many thanks and keep the great content coming! x ♥️ x
Hi! Love the video. Me and my partner ordered invites off Etsy. So affordable on there and the quality is amazing 😊
thanks so much for watching my video! Did you find this breakdown helpful? x
