There is something important for you to know when using real flowers. Thankfully you wrapped the stems but when using real fresh flowers you want to make sure you get flowers that have been grown for consumption. Some flowers naturally are highly toxic but even ones that aren’t can be harmful. Organic has to do with how they are grown not necessarily how they are treated post harvest. It is very common for florists to put bleach and other products in their water to preserve the flowers. They are still organic (because organic refers to how they are grown) but not edible.
Just a little factoid for your future endeavors.
That whole foods cake will be my wedding cake too. But I'm having them make it semi naked so it will fit my theme better. And no raspberries.

I think you should have wrapped it with plastic wrap rather than floral tape to make it food safe

Not to be that person but food safe is different from organic like did we check if these flowers were not pesticides infused 😅 js i love real flowers and not candy ones but we gotta make sure they are edible. Only reason was cause she did state she wasnt trained or professional and shes making them for other people we dont want her ending up like the pink sauce lady making people sick.
