Really appreciate the information this video is giving. Thank you x
Watching first few minutes is great information for wedding or contract photoshoot. Thanks
Wow.. wow. Listen.. I'm as brave as they come… but this level of production is.. to be honest intimidating to me.. granted I'm now where near the level I would even consider doing a wedding. But IF… I was this video of yours super, super informative.. thank you so much.. for sharing..
Great video. One question…highlight priority…isn't it only for jpgs like picture styles etc? I thought all those image settings in canon do not affect raw?
“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”…… I’m adding that to my Quotes notebook. 🎉
Once again your advice is priceless, good to be blessed 😇
Vanessa thanks for sharing your wisdom📷
I agree with your opinion completely here.
Weddings are you kidding me, the first thing I'd need is my head examining, I'll stick to Stately Homes , Aircraft sales ,offices, apartments photography. No way am I straying to the darkside 🤣🤣❤
Some of the most concise and helpful information for first time wedding photographers, I still have ptsd from shooting weddings, but watching this video brought all the good memories back.
Heard LEXAR cards fail quite frequently as compared to SanDisk. Thoughts?
amazing video! Really covers everything but the actual "doing" of the wedding but you can only experience that at a wedding lol.
So don't wear a bright purple "I shoot raw" shirt with no sleeves? Ugh fine!
Great video as usual ! Although I have like 15 lenses, I only take my Sigma 35 mm f1.4, Canon 85 mm f1.4 IS and Canon 100 mm f2.8 macro IS to weddings. I don't want to carry a heavy 70-200 mm f2.8 all day. I take 2 cameras : 5DIII and R6 and 2 flashes/strobes and lightstands and softboxes. And plenty of cards and batteries. Last wedding I did, I traveled by bike and was faster everywhere than all the relatives/guests that arrived by car (it was in Belgium 🙂 ). I could carry all my gear on my bicycle !
Thank you Venessa for the wealth of information.
Though I am not a wedding photographer ( I am just can amateur ) I still get family members asking me to be the 2nd unofficial wedding photographer,. How I see it as the free wedding service, ..! Lol
I do not mind as I still get to have fun and enjoy the day.
Very useful video!
This is gold. Thanks, again, Vanessa!
Thank you for mentioning the part about being aware of guests and not using a wide angle for key moments like vows. I've seen so many wedding media people act like a wedding is their personal styled shoot with absolute disregard for everyone else. Sadly, the worst case I ever saw was a photographer that claimed to have 16 years of experience…
I hope someday I can have the courage to do a wedding, but man, there's just too much stress for me and I don't even do weddings! lol
This video should be shared as a standard for the wedding photography industry.
awesome video as usual. You had mentioned for a second over there about South Asian (Indian) weddings… Would be nice to see some behind the scenes for one of those weddings as you know they are very different from traditional weddings and there are not a whole lot to look at on youtube.
Thank You! Bunch of Helps!
does any body have a camera that doesnt need and wants to give it away ??
saving this video to my Repeat playlist
could your husband do a similar video but for videography, his work is next level
So how did you get the shot when the videographer was in the frame?
still enjoy the prettiest photographer in the world…
