Mascara before eyeshadow AND false lashes??? Really?
The final look was beautiful but I also don't understand why you would do mascara before the shadow- The shadow falling sticks the the mascara keeping it off the face yes but then it's stuck to the lashes! In my experience this makes them clumpy and gives them a lighter color than you want. Better to either sweep shadow fallout away with a fan brush or just do complexion last so you can wipe it off. Also harder to blend lashes into falsies when mascara is already applied and dry. Mascara last!!
Different makeup artists have different techniques. Lilly likes to apply the mascara first because the mascara on the lashes will catch any eyeshadow that may fall, stopping it from falling on to the face.
