So there is no wireless for master/slave? They need to be wired together?
Daryl, have you seen the ADJ Eliminator Mega Wash 24? No one has done a comparison video. It’d be interesting to see.
I have great sound mode Chauvet units. Bummer it doesn’t have a cycle thru sound mode. I’m a one man show. I would need 4 arms if I did DMX too.
Yes I like the whole setup with the gravity
I can't get the link for the gravity stand and the clamp could you please send
Daryl, great video! You sound like Jimmy Kimmel when you talk 😂 awesome light!
Hi Daryl, this is a pretty thorough video and I got excited when you said you were going to demo Sound Active Mode. However, although when going through the features you mentioned you can control Sound Sensitivity on Sound Active Mode, you never showed how to do this. The Chauvet manual says to turn the KNOB to adjust sound sensitivity. I have not found this knob on my light fixture and the manual does not show were it is on the diagram. So, how do you adjust sound sensitivity? Also, when I turn my light on Sound Active Mode, it illuminates and runs a pattern when there is no music. I would think it would be blacked out when there is no music. Any help appreciated here. Thanks
oooh he says
" power cable " hes bein politically correct around here its a CORD
Hey Daryl, please can you share a video on best practices for adding a new fixture in soundswitch and how to give the best performance of say the wash fx hex in soundswitch without doing scripting of tracks
Dumb question . I didn’t use DMx.. just enabled active mode on the wash , but somehow wash is not lighting based on the music ?
Can these be controlled by midi ?
Great video Daryl. Have you drilled another two holes in the wash fx hex to secure it when it's standing @8:41 like that?
Hi Daryl thanks for the awesome video. I have the Chuavet Wash FX 2. If I purchase your autoloops for soundswithch will it work with the Wash FX 2? Thanks
Daryl, Right on. I totally agree. Perfect, even if you only get one. Some DMX control and a pair of these would be a great starting point. These fixtures remove the issue of overlapping and color spilling. For beginners, it's really as plug-and-go as you can get.
Great Video Sir. I have a pair of these are they are great. I did purchase the remote and it was trash. I sent it back. I read some reviews and it said it wasn't bad but don't always work. I guess i got a remote that didn't work too well.
This is exactly the same set up I have and I’m thinking on getting two more FX2s and gravity stands and yes, I wish they were battery powered 🙌
I have a dumb question but just curious. Do you guys throw all your boxes away from all the lights you buy? Lol. What do you say them just in case you might sell the lights in the future cause I have a wall of boxes and I’m thinking what the hell am I doing kind of just throw them away
Hi Daryl, I think there is a MODE 0 which cycles through the sound active modes.
Hey Daryl, great videos!
I have battery powered Pixel tubes & uplighting.
Both have 'Wireless DMX' in them.
Why isn't wireless DMX in the newer 'Wired' fixtures?
I hate using those battery operated dongles, to create wireless DMX for my controller.
I'm using the ADJ WMX1 controller and it's awesome!
Let me know if you are aware of any wired fixtures with wireless DMX.
Thanks!
Agree with you…any light is useless unless you have DMX control….personally I still use Vibrio and it's very easy to learn and very stable.
