D'you mean Pye Jirsa for a 10k a day photograpger? 😀 well tbh he did help me start, but yea…I get u
Great info. I’m 64 years old. Been taking pictures since I was 12. Is it too late for me?
Gleamed a few golden nuggets from this so totally appreciated. I love photography and have done 3 weddings for free, (one i was flown to a location, i offered to pay) nugget #1 hire someone for the post processing if time poor, and if needed. I’m ok at this but there are way better gurus at post processing quicker and better cost effective. Nugget #2 relax have fun, cell phone photographers, mothers, all can be fixed with communication, I’m always looking for that emotional, connection photo, end state ppl like Taylor re-enforces that we love what we do, thank you
This is the video that hit on so many points..thank you!!
What are some red flags you avoided?
Gary’s Sales strategy 😂😂😂😂😂
I have send you Pm on Instagram please could you check and reply waiting for you
Taylor I love how you call Waterloo "just outside Toronto" lol!! It's like nobody else knows where K/W, Guelph, Cambridge is so we all just say TOronto. I know the feeling haha
Hey bro, are you shooting the 58mm 1.5 G or the 50 AFs 18 G?
Thanks for sharing this Taylor 🙂
I definitely agree with you that holding the finished product hostage and making them pay through the nose to get hard copies of the images is bad practice. That sort of tactic just seems like not a great way to get word of mouth customers, especially in the age of yelp and google reviews.
When Vogue magazine is publishing articles about how you should just have your wedding party and the people attending your wedding send you pics they captured with their smart phones, rather than hiring a professional photographer, it becomes clear that it's a tough time to be a photographer as it is, no need to make it harder on ourselves by being shady. 🙂
That was a wise, level-headed, sober and compassionate, yet professional delivery; and from a relatively young man! Well done!
I would LOVE for you to expound in red flags and how to recognize/address them.
“You’re killing the industry”
Nope, I’m growing my business. COMPETE OR LEAVE
I have the opportunity to shoot my first wedding next year and im so happy that I stumbled across your channel and to hear you talk about your happiness compared to what you may net in profit is amazing. My biggest concern with taking on photography full time is my happiness and making sure I don't lose that in my pursuit of a dream career
I love how honest you are about doing what you can to get your business off the ground. I noticed that alot of people in the industry wont even acknowledge you even if you offer to pay them for portfolio building jobs. Even if you are not a direct competition to them.
THANK YOU. Seriously.
😍🤩😇
Nice
Thank you Taylor, love your work bro
