Hmm i really like the detailed explanation, but i just can't help but wonder when to use these switches? I feel like any song combination will be categorized as one of them 😅
Could you list examples of what not to do?
hommie you phenomenal 👏🔥
Despite these songs being different beats and vibes to what I usually like the way you're able to construct them makes me more intuned to what you're trying create which feels incredible to the usual bombardment of emotions that tend to show when others are showcasing their music.
fuck this ima start adding interludes to my playlist
my playlist is only 75 songs and about 4 hours, named as
slow and mellow/1950s-1970s
All I learnt from this is that u have fucking awful taste 😭😭😭
I love 16 by keem 🥹 nice video
This is gonna be pain, I only start arranging when I run out of spotify premium.
Summary:
Instant RAGE
Slower song > Instant drop
Slow Down, Speed up
Hype song with a gradual slow down >
Leading into an immediate speed up
Vibes to Viibez
Track 1 leads into Track 2 BUT
You gotta switch genres
Get Up and DANCE
Lead something that u CAN'T dance to, into something you HAVE to dance to.
The SLOW DOWN
Song pace DOESN'T matter, just a slow ending to a slow begining.
The Lit Switch
Lead one LIT song seamlessly into ANOTHER LIT song
(Genre doesn't matter) Both songs gotta be lit though
Is that the same?
Have a similar sounding instrument playing the end of Track 1 and at the beginning of Track 2
Wierd BUT Effective
Track 1 starts with a sound effect to transition into Track 2
[I love these use em a lot lol]
The Dip
Track 1 – Song with decent pace
Track 2 – Slowest song
Track 3 – Slow but picks up the pace again
Other tips:
Don't get too obsessive over perfecting transitioning everything
Turn off crossfase
U wanna be specific when songs end and begin/disabled crossfade
Use apple music, best sound, if u have spacial audio set headtracking to fixed, turn of spacialized stereo to only hear it for spacialized audio.
Those transitions were made by him.
i love this video
What’s the song at 1:16 called?
Is emotion cam a joke or real?😂
Thank God this guy listens to exactly what I bump
Bro, all the songs used for examples went crazy! Good ShiT
W video
i go off vibes. all my playlists are titled the “vibe” so “driving to the beach” is warm songs that fit a sound track to an upbeat teenage film “quiet as a bomb shelter” is quiet echoy songs “fuck someone gave me aux” is my rap and songs that people can sing along to
Dont judge me with my unorganized playlist 🙄
Dude this video is lit, your production value is so good bro, also the songs you are recommending are 🔥🔥🔥👌 i need to listen some of your playlists now.
Bro you deserve more views
I guess everyone here were fed up with 500+ songs and no proper playlisy for you mood and proceed to make 10+ playlists
Can we find you on spotify?
Getting married in 4 months! Using these tips for my wedding playlist! Thanks for sharing! 😄
Yo, the way too sexy to WDYW is too lit
The transition from Way 2 Sexy to WDYW was the cleanest. Man your playlist is fire!
Even if people are just gonna click shuffle, it's always good to take pride in the order of your playlists for you.
Me making a bunch of depressing ass playlists for my life problems 😂
Hav u heard of a DJ mix bruh
Honestly this is so well detailed and highly informative, I loved every second of it. All the technique you use to mix up songs and introduce each is amazing, never a dull moment listening to that kind of playlist with so much care to it. Although there's always that one dude on shuffle mode slapping the hell outta that hard work lmao, but it's their choice anyway😂. Quick question though, is it necessary to stick to just one playlist as a curator or you can create multiple playlist?
