Almost the same story as mine….any man under the influence of alcohol is something else plsss
I must say, when an alcoholic is stupered, he or she cannot control what they're doing – that's why it's called the demon drink. I've unfortunately, while on holiday visiting my family, experienced it's effects. The male family member who had been drinking throughout the day, when reaching home, changed from the kind person he usually is, into an uncontrollable aggressive person who smashed things in the house, attacking his wife, and teen son who was trying to stop the abuse, so much so that the son had to go for hospital treatment (and making up a story so the father wasn't arrested). It was a horric scenario for me as a young person, which has stayed in my memory until now, in my adult years. It was my one and only experience, but it was like hell. My alcoholic family member's actions has through the years, adversely affected his whole family. If it was me as the wife I would have left, but his wife, my relative, would not leave him, even though she was physically abused and the things in the home would get smashed up, when he drank too much.
Please also note: My relatives, both husband and wife, had very good jobs and the alcoholism never affected his job. He in fact was such a kind, lovely person when he was not drunk.
The man in court said the only issue between them is his alcoholism, as if it's a simple matter. Believe me, the affects of his alcoholism is a Big issue! In fact, so much so that her family members were trying their best, maybe sometimes not in a correct way, to save her life, and not let the children go through hell or have scarred lives. I hope this man goes and gets himself sorted, and owns up to his alcoholism that it has destroyed his once happy family life. Because hearing him speak, he has not, he's not humbled.
