I actually knew you could self-solemnize in PA thanks to The Office and Dwight secretly marrying Angela while Andy was standing RIGHT THERE!! Also, thank you for this! My boyfriend and I are getting close to getting engaged, and a “regular wedding” isn’t even close to the cards for us. It’s either elope or a surprise wedding! I guess it all depends on the amount of stress we’re willing to deal with. 😂
Can you do a video on backlash for elopement? We eloped and it was magical, no regrets. We had warned both of our families, but now my parents are furious and say theyre heartbroken. I dont get it.

Hey! Thanks for sharing! Me and my partner aren’t actually engaged yet haha, but we talk about it a lot and have went back and forth about what we want to do. I have a pretty dysfunctional family and there’s just too much that can go wrong if we have a large get-together. Hurt feelings from not inviting certain people, divorced parents having to see each other.. you get the picture.
I’m definitely going to look into Simply Eloped! I think eloping, then going on a honeymoon would be a fun way to celebrate. Then, we could always celebrate with our families at a later date. Thanks for the video, I really appreciate your energy and the effort you put into it!

We rented an RV and made the cross country trip from NC to UT to wed❤️ we hung our dress and tuxedo in the RV. My mom told us to fly them out and I was like “Whyyyyy?”😂😂😂😂
