Happy I found you. Me and and husband to be are in our 60’s, second marriage for both. Getting married at our horse in the North Carolina mountains on our deck. Any ideas for fall wedding. 30 people max.
Can you please do a tropical 80s/90s theme? Think like Miami Vice and Vapor Wave.
Just rewatching for I think the 5th time!! My daughters backyard reception is two weeks away and the kids table was totally in my brain 100%!! But when you said “ I don’t want to worry about sitting at the craft table when I could be on the dance floor “ yup exactly!!! I heard that!!👍
Can you PLEASE do a video on how to find and choose the florist for you?!
Love your videos SO so much! I’ve been to maybe 3 weddings in my life and I’m getting married in March and I was COMPLETELY LOST. Watching your videos, taking your advice, and using your tools has been my lifeline. I watch them every day and now that I have direction I’m getting so excited for the big day!!!
Hi Jamie! I’m getting married next month. Thank you for this information. I wanted to share with you and everyone here, that I just got wood slices from someone here in Los Angeles who is selling the slices on OfferUp. I needed 20 slices. They were selling them for $3 for 9” length slices that are an inch thick and in excellent condition. Some of the ones they had in stock were missing some bark or perhaps had a slight split in them and if you’re not too picky, you can get them for $2.50. So I got 10 for $2.50 and 10 for $3. Other slices in their inventory will run you about $1+ or more depending on your desired size preference. Just an fyi. Because I had NO desire to give my money to Amazon for wood. They also have larger slices to use as cake stands etc. I’m gonna subscribe to you right now. I promise! ❤. Oh and one more thing, I have been going to restaurants that serve mimosa brunches and asking for their empty champagne bottles which everyone has been more than willing to give me. I spray painted them rose gold and am using them for the centerpieces that will go on top of the wood slices. We will add babies breath, twine on the bottles, a small candle and free pinecones I got from my cousin who lives up north and was doing some recent fall cleaning. She shipped 100 pinecones to me and I also sprayed them with metallic rose gold on the tips. Looking SNAZZY. We will add fresh eucalyptus around the slices for a final touch. It’s coming together very nicely and very affordable.
I'm thinking about having a Alice in wonderland/ secret garden tea party-esque mismatched theme. Like different types of cups/ chairs/ tables. Feminine cottage romantic chic if any of that makes sense. Can you make a video of that? Or how to make a brooch bouquet.
Very helpful for planning my daughter's wedding.
I bought 20 wood rounds for 10 dollars from somebody! And a bit of gas money since it was quite the drive, but totally worth it
Hi, I am new to your channel and enjoying very much🌸 love this HAUL!!
I’m planning a DIY back bay wedding. Family, kids, friends. Day at the beach. I’m a event planner and military baby showers in my city but now that it’s my wedding …I’m not “seeing” the smooth ceremony to the reception & splashing in the water transition.
Any easy ideas would be appreciated 🌸
Sandy
Ok
I live in an area with tons of pampas grass. I went out and cut a whole bunch for my wedding. (Edit: my wedding hasn't happened yet. 9/22)😁
I love how peppy you are!! Also, very VERY helpful tips.
🤍🪴🌻 I LOVEE your videos!! Thankyou for them so much!!! I have a question- how do you feel about sola wood flowers for saving (literally$ and also preserving?!?!) mixed with live big blooms like sunflowers for bouquets! I’ve seen this so often and want to do it but don’t know a good budget or design for one.
Thanks for the great info!✨💖
With the wood rounds, if you're on a budget (like I am) ask around. A friend of mine actually had a tree in her yard she had to have cut down anyways and she asked the people who cut it down to leave a few logs behind. I took them to my uncle who cut them for me and got them 100% for free. Ask around!
Great video! Have you ever used Ali Express for any wedding decor?
My venue came with wood rounds and lanterns as decorative options. Made me so happy to find that out.
My flower girls i brought clear purses so tht way you can see the flowers in the purse and they just sprinkle the flowers out the purse.
You are so amazing and entertaining! I love your videos. Thank you for educating and helping all of us 😊
I found some cute flower girl/granny baskets from goodwill for just a couple bucks!
I really appreciate you finding things for those who want the DIY look but don't have the time or storage space to make and keep all these cute things in a tiny home factory!
I would really love to see a moss themed haul!
Here are some themes for more wedding hauls: travel, glamor/ hollywood, natural, old world/ traditional, whimsical/ magical/enchanted forest, tropical.
Jamie, you are phenomenal! I am planning a backyard wedding for August of 2022 and YOU ARE SAVING MEEEEEE! In ALL meanings of the word! Thank you for being such a great source for wedding advice, keeping it real and sharing your ideas and infectious personality!
High fantasy, which includes dragons, fairies, elves, magic (harry potter) and things.
For wooden rounds, if you are near a farmers market or you know a local woodsman, go to them directly for wood. I got 15 rounds for 40 bucks and they were bigger then the ones jamie is showing. Something to keep in mind if they weren't dried yet so I had to wait a few months and they weren't nicely sanded down so we did that ourselves but we already owned the sander so, didnt cost us much more then the 40 bucks, a few hours, and the cost of sand paper
Side note: some local woodsman will be able to sand/"plane" the wood and make it smooth. Just depends what wood you want 🙂
I think that the hual videos are a good way to a rough theme out for planning a wedding.
you could do a hobby lobby haul of their wedding selection.
