Full black suit is always on point and highly recommended, especially if you live in a cold place. Sets you apart and shows a much darker and serious tone.
light grey will give me the Pee Wee Herman look
Antonio, the trick with off the rack is to get as close as you can in fit, then have it tailored. Don't go by color or brand, just find the best fitting item. It''ll give you more choices.
I love the subdued peak lapels on that suit.
Suits are nice really the best part for me is a nice tie on too why not if you can do too.
If you’re looking for a custom suit at a really great price, Indochino is where it’s at. I got my suit there. I had to get remeasured due to the first person not properly fitting me the first time, but I think when it comes back, my suit will look great.
Much appreciated.
I need to ask about the grooming. Some of us (read: me) do not care for the thinning as we age. I'm personally not getting plugs because they're just ugly as sin. So I shave my head.
What do we have to say about that?
I keep a beard, but as I age that is going whiter. It is roughly 18" long right now. Can we do an off-hand video about us guys who like to keep their hair on our faces that doesn't belong on our heads anymore?
I am really suprised about this statement, that just a few companys do blue suits. I live in europe but german companys like Hugo Boss should sell these blue suits also in the US or doesnt they?
No its sooo wrong! The secrets are in other things!
Dit gaat ook in de toekomst veranderen per klimaatontwerp
I've recently joined the Real Men Real Style Community online, and happy to report that I feel more confident about myself – instead of just dressing like a schlump, I am making the conscious decision to learn a thing or two before I invest any more money in clothes – and this community, and this channel – these are my pathway to success. Tonight I wanted to learn more about suits, because frankly my sizes have changed over the years, and all I've ever owned before were low-end rack suits that were bought without observing the "Fit Is King" rule of thumb.
fortunately I haven't needed to wear a suit during this "one size smaller" era. The stressed front button and tight shoulders makes zero sense to me.
27:15 based on this infographic, i think your jackets are too large in the shoulders..no?
Whenever I see these type of videos, guys with a belly are addressed more than those with a well developed chest, shoulders, upper back, an athletic butt and thighs and a tapered waist. If you are seeing the results you desire from your fight and conditioning training, you are going to be a bit of a challenge for a tailor with an off the rack suit.
Buying clothes online sucks… for a whole range of reasons. One of them being you cannot try it out.
.
Wow this explanation is too good but this video is just too long
This man is the best for looking good, but ngl he was dressed like the Riddler this episode.
Very informative video. Thank you, I learned a lot 🙏
This is the best one stop video! Do you have one for shoes?
Does anyone buy their suits or blazers from Hackett London? I’ve made a few purchases on really nice blazers there in London.
This is hands down one of the best videos on the internet, on any subject. I can't believe there's no cats in it.

The best suit guide I've seen on YouTube, well done.
Great remake and always excellent advice. I think in today's world a dark brown, especially with a birdseye weave, is perfectly acceptable in a business/city environment, it is down to the cut. My goto is exactly that a button-one dark brown birdseye.
I realize everyone can’t afford bespoke, which is why you should go with custom. When you have the paints made they should have side adjusters or bottoms for spenders and a fishtail back. A well dressed gentleman does not wear a belt with a suit, which destroys the line of a suit. This is specially true for a three piece suit.
If you a having a black formal suit made it should have either peak lapels or shawl lapels. No notched lapels. It should also have no flaps on the pockets, a single button and no vent. While it not necessary I love no back pockets, which creates a smother line for the pants.
Love your work and content! I ride a motorcycle to commute almost daily. And being in a tropical country, it's pretty hot and wet here. While I wear full gear when riding, I often find myself dressed in quick drying fabric clothes that are usually used for sports or gym settings. If I were to dress up, what would be suitable? A shirt with tie, and probably a vest under the safety jacket? I'm not keen on giving up the safety jacket.
I decided to go custom with suitsuppy because I am heavy built and off the rack doesnt work for me. its not an easy process mainly because I dont feel that they know how to make it fit properly for my body type. hopefully it will work out
Great video. Where does everyone recommend for suit separates? I prefer having two pairs of pants per jacket. thank you!
This video is being excellent! Love it! Thank you for sharing. Now…I just need a social life where I actually need a suit…
Great video, very detailed.
This proves one thing. If you want a good suit you got to go to Mount Pilot
Yikes! Tony, Tony….at 10.38 what were you thinking?! Olive green jacket with a purple tie and blue on white striped shirt? No, no ,no ! Bad boy!
he's right, when I went in to get my custom suit, I knew exactly what I wanted, which fabrics and which style, it was very easy for the tailor
Off the rack is out of the question for me. I have super long back and short legs. All jackets are way too short for me.
