Very informative video thank you for all the great tips!
We got married in the Beautiful Antigua & Barbuda last year, we picked a large resort on the outskirts of St. John, one that would at least accommodate over 60 guests & used a local wedding planner on the Island to help co-ordinate alot of the wedding. Planner did videographer, decorations for day of, flowers, wedding cake, music & almost everything else. You can almost always find a planner by doing more research especially in the Carribean & they are affordable. Lastly destination weddings ain't necessarily cheap, but alot less expensive than the States. Planning on spending atleast 20,000 bucks if you are going big even on a beach. Costs can always be cut down if you are strategic & pretty smart about your finances & start planning in advance. Important tip; please please visit your wedding destination & meet with your planner or the one on the resort b4 you get hitched, check out the beach too, is it safe & secure??Pictures can be a lie sometimes, gotta see things in person 1st.
Hey, great hearing about all this. How did it go with the video? Did you really end up giving your camera to your guests? How was the edit? I'm actually starting to do some wedding video here in Cancun and finding it much harder to sell my packages than my photo partner but couples always end up regretting not having video. I guess it's always tempting to save a few much appreciated bucks, but video is such a great thing to have after.
this was helpful but the biggest question not answered is how much it cost..lol ive watched like 20 videos…and no one mentions the cost…also what resort did you use? PS..WOOT WOOT MIDWEST GIRLS… im from Indiana!
Did you have a dj for the reception?
I can't thank you enough for all of the helpful information, by far the most helpful of ALL the blogs and vlogs out there… Do you by any chance have the list of the FAQ's that you sent out to your family? I am making a list and took notes on the things you asked, just hoping I don't miss anything! 🙂
Hey did you have a wedding coordinator or planner I. Mexico ?
I'm planning two receptions as well. I hoping I am as care free as you are about it. lol and we are also getting Married on a TUESDAY! lol We decided on a small Destination wedding in Savannah GA. So if anyone has recommendations for beautiful outdoor Garden venues, please let me know =)

This is so helpful for me, I am planning a DW now for Oct. I would so like to see an example of your FAQ sheet. If you don't mind could you please share the document with me!? If so, my email is ajsmithwedding2017@gmail.com
