Long hair is beautiful, but I've found that most women over 50 can't pull it off. They either have thinning hair that looks over processed on the ends and fried, or usually the long hair is pulling their faces down. How do you convey this to your clients? I've struggled with that for a while and can never seem to find the right way to tell them that their long hair is actually aging them. For some reason, women hang onto long hair like a security blanket. They somehow believe it keeps them looking young, when it's doing just the opposite.
