I went for a very long engagement so i could pick my must haves and save accordingly then i compromised regarding availability of things like decorating.
Can we have this updated for 2022 hehe…
$29k for a few hours. That's cute. Let me reach where the sun doesn't shine to manifest that lol. I wouldn't go over $1,000.
This makes me think I need to elope. I want a $1,000 wedding…..
My first wedding was 750$ including dress and food it was gorgeous I still get compliments on my wedding day… now I'm getting married a second time around and 3000 is top max. I'm hoping to stay under 2500. I'm blessed to have a wonderful family who loves pinterest and let's me borrow things. Plus being a hair dresser I'm winning friend will gift me their services 💕💕💕. I'm soo blessed to have found your channel such wonderful edvice ❤
I also feel like the average price of some of these things depends on where you live too. If you live in or near a big city then venues cost way more to rent for sure than in rural areas. Services like DJ/photo/video also can vary a lot depending on noterioty of the person, cost of living in the area, etc.
Soo down payment on a house or wedding haha 😅
And I’m over here with an $8000 budget.. we have gotten super lucky with finding venues and venders though so I think we can do it 🙂
Having a wedding saves so much headache and heartache! I didn't even start looking at venues until my husband and I had locked in our wedding budget. We live in Florida and have been to $5k weddings and $50k weddings- both beautiful as they're a celebration of the couple's love. Exactly as it should be!
My Dad said he'll throw me a wedding as long as its no frills church wedding where the old ladies of the church provide all the food and stuff. I dont need anything super fancy, but I'd at least like a couple nice things. My budget will probably be around $5000. I'm grateful, but its hard to try and have 75 guests with $5000
I have not come across a caterer offering $20-$30 per head. That’s a steal! We live in South San Francisco but getting married in Sacramento so everything is $$$. Our food alone comes out to a little over $8000 for 125 people. And our caterer is one of the more affordable options I found.
Yeah no lol. Better off putting all that towards a down payment for a house. Sorry family and friends!! 😂😂😂🥴🥴🥴🥴
I want a budget sooo bad but my mother doesn't want to give me one because has a mormon they are used to doing weddings in four months. They never had a budget. It was always okay this is what you want this is cheapest way to go. Lets do it. And I hate it so much. I want a budget because it'll make it so easy. However my mother doesn't think so and I don't know what to do :/
Help! I'm looking at hair and make up right now. I have 6 bridesmaids, I don't know if I should ask them to pay for their own HMU (if they want-i wouldn't force anyone) or we all just do it ourselves. Is it weird if I just get it done and they don't? I wish I could afford to pay for them all 🙁
Im not even engaged… I live in whole other country but Im watching anyway….

I just joined and have $155 after only 24 hours. This is going to pay for the 2nd hand dress I find on Offer Up! So stoked! Love these budget ideas!
That is more that my yearly salary. Um. I’ll start saving now!
There will be about 250 people at my reception and we have 12000… pray for me 😓
This cost makes me wheeze. 😳 My SO and I could never imagine spending almost a 1/4 of our annual income on just a wedding. I’m so happy the idea of a small elopement appeals heavily to both of us.
Hey Mamacita Wolfer!~ I was wondering if you can make video on venue requirements surrounding insurance. My venue requires us and our vendors to have separate insurance with $1M coverage per occurance $2M aggregate. Please help!
Mine is going to be 10,000. The venue is awesome, food is hella expensive 75 per person for 56 people. But that includes drinks, food, dessert, linens, tables, chairs.
Our budget is at $20,000, I'm actually reading this on my way for my budget meeting with my wedding planner! Thank you so much for your advice!!
Binge watching all of your videos today! Your tips are AMAZING & I couldn’t thank you more for making all of these videos! You are the best!
Can you do a video on planning a brunch wedding?
HOW can you get food at 3k?! Even with stationary aps and buffet style dinner no dessert we can't figure out a way under 8k (we're in a big city). Any recommendations?
Looking at my budget and this… I feel kinda cheep… oh well… I just can’t afford that.😊
How do people pay for weddings? Are there people out there just saving up, in cash, $5000-50000 before they get married? Do people get a loan? Use credit cards? How how how do people do this? This was disheartening to watch, makes me think It'll take me and my fiance years to save up to be able to get married… 🙁
Our budget is 6,500 for our wedding. 👰🏾💍🍾🎼📸🍖
Our budget is at max $7,500 but goal is $7, 000. Inviting 40 ppl.
I want to thank you for these videos. My fiance is a recent brain cancer survivor so our budget is not as much as we wished and you have saved us so much money. Thank you so much and God bless!
i guess I'm eloping 😭
SUPER helpful. This is about where our budget is. Nice to know some commonly accepted totals.
LOL 30k is not a realistic budget. A realistic budget is under 10k. We are a broke populous. Come on now.
Shiii— 30 000 😂😂 our budget is 3 000 includin photos, band, food for 40 people, flowers…. 😂😂😂😂😂 And our place rental costs 240€
Hello Jamie! I am a new subscriber to your channel. I have been planning my wedding for the almost a year and my wedding is three months away. My questions are: how do you recommend stating NO children on the formal invitation? How do you indicate that we don’t have a registry but would like assistance on a honeymoon fund. Thanks Jamie ! Your video is awesome!
Can you please talk about how to come up with a budget?? That's where I'm confused. I know having a budget is super important but I'm not really sure how to figure out what my budget is.
$30000 🤢 I’m recently engaged and cry every time I think about how I’m going to try to plan this with no help from family
EDIT TO ADD: For better or for worse we were able to get married for a decent price in Colorado in 2020 because of COVID. Lots of vendors running deals because of everything that was going on at the time and our guest list was obviously way shorter to only include immediate family. I think our total ended up around $7k and the majority of that was the photographer/videographer.
You should have done it by percentage.
you're the freaking best!!!!
We have a 5k budget total. 2,500 venue, 500 taco food truck, cash bar with a possibly cocktail hour, aunt is a wedding cake maker, future sister in law excellent photographer, 500 (flowers, centerpieces, extra decor) our venue has tons of decor included, 800 for my dress & grooms attire, 700 misc funds
My last minute thing that I didn't plan for…having to change the location for the reception 2 days before the wedding…NOT FUNNY
The photographer/videographer and dj are way too much. You should not be paying 1,500 for a dj unless youre looking for a baller wedding. I have a couple of phenomenal djs in my area that are only $500. I used to work at a wedding photography and videography studio (that included dj) and some of the most amazing packages were only 3’000 dollars for both photos and video (and we delivered all of the photos from the wedding day within a week, not a single one was deleted so clients often got anywhere from 3’000 to 5’000 photos). 5’000 dollars is way too much. We even had a 3’000 dollar package that included a gorgeous photo book
Justice of the peace $80
I love all of your wedding videos. Youre the most informational and quick easy to the point and helpful
