Watchong 1 week before… Well 💩
The makeup list video had your face longer. Lean into that more and do less trying to compensate for it. That length is your friend not your enemy.
Not me, getting freckles tattooed 4 months before my wedding, and having my makeup trial planned for two weeks before the wedding… Oh well, it's gonna be fiiiine.
Im a year in advance started the hair color journey now going from red to blonde so working on fading it out
lol if anybody is paying that close attention to how I look… yeah no.
Brows and toenails? Lolz
Maybe some people care… I just wish my face didn’t have acne. At 32…
And all the COSTS associated with all this crap… yikes.
This might be a TMI topic but can you do a video on what to do if you get your period on your wedding day or how to prepare if you know you're going to get your period on your wedding day (and, yes, I know this doesn't apply to all couples and/or people who take birth control) … please and thank you!
Me watching this a month out from my wedding: 😳
Oops.
I got severe foliculitis from dermaplaning so I’d recommend trying that a good year out to see how you react since it took me a couple of months to react. I’m still trying to recover from dermaplaning and it’s been 5 months 🥴
Something for your skin for the wedding to think about too is birth control. If you arent already on birth control, going on the pill can change your skin like crazy. 6 months was what I was recommended for starting a new birth control
I’d love to hear about throwing a surprise wedding! Any recommendations you’d have would be epic
This was such a fun video! If possible, I recommend changing the title to reflect the fact you give all sorts of awesome beauty advice in this video! 🥰
These timelines are making it harder and harder to have short engagements.
I was so bad a few weeks leading up to my wedding – ate everything as if I wasn't getting married soon. I didn't diet, just ate intuitively (lots of meat, tried to stay away from inflammatory foods- greens) and ate MANY desserts. Because I ate kinda crappy, I also started putting iodine on my acne and face every night. It works like a charm, takes down inflammation and leaves a flat dot which can be covered with makeup. Anyways, it totally worked and my skin looked flawless without crazy diets or magic pills! 🙂 hope it helps. (lugol's iodine solution, it's diluted so it won't burn your face). Oh and I never take vitamins, I just mostly try to eat organic meats.
I loved your outra today in regards to how our partners already love us for how our faces bodies look right now. You’re such a sweetie ❤️
Thank you 🙂 I think I will tan just my arms and legs 🙂
Can you please do a video on “picnic weddings”? You mentioned them in a previous wedding and I’ve fell in love with the idea!
Hi, I am planning my parents' 25th Wedding Anniversary and they don't have an idea on what unique modern theme we should do. Can you share your ideas and suggestions for a Silver Wedding Anniversary? We also think a silver theme is somehow cliche for this. Thanks!
I'm starting now i have acne prone skin, i have gain 15 lbs being on quarantine, and once i feel safe im going to get my hair cut and colored. Yay me !!! I need some pampering
Teeth whiting suggestions for at home?
Follow Jamie's personal channel! It is the best!
You look so beautiful without makeup!
You should do a video on bridesmaid gift boxes, what all could go in there and when to send them out? 🙂
I've been looking for a video like this! Thank you!
Awe, I wish we saw you natural more often.
Hold up- this video is about skin care and you mentioned laying out? Tanning is your body reacting to skin damage- fake it! I would recommend doing a spray 2 days before a dress fitting to make sure the shade looks nice against the dress.
You are STUNNING fresh faced!
Thank you so much for the wonderful advice as always! I thoroughly love your videos and this was very helpful. Keep up the great work Jamie!
Can you talk about planning a wedding weekend? We are getting married memorial weekend of 2021, my family is flying in from out of town and we would love some advice! I feel like this could be a whole series. Is proper etiquette to invite out of town guests to the rehearsal dinner? A video on hosting a day-after brunch? Welcome baskets in the hotel for out of towners? I have so many questions 😀
Curology isn’t available in my state!😞☔️ Tis a sad day ⛈
i have been searching for this video for sooooo long
Hello!
Can you do a video on social/cocktail hour? Or of it's necessary?
😭 they only ship to US 💔
I don’t know why, but going through this timeline had my heart racing.
I hadn't even thought about a skincare routine, especially since I don't usually use makeup, but I definitely need to look into it! My skin is warm and oily, so makeup tends to look cakey, then melt off… 😅
I’ve been working on my wedding day skin for YEARS. No exaggeration. Still a work in progress.
Trying to remember to let the ads play!
You have the best videos! You always make me feel so excited and happy for my big day!
Looking gorgeous as always!! 🌿❤️
Any advice for a no make-up bride? Products to use to lessen the shine etc…
Like ohh a beauty sponcer bet its not vegan and cruelty free 😔 BOOM! OH YES IT IS!! 🙌🙌🙌
Thanks Jamie! Xxx
Ah this is such an awesome video! I've heard that you should really increase your water/antioxident content like 2 weeks before the wedding to decrease inflammation and flush out any toxins that have been building up in the liver/kidney!
Agree on the lip care, but save money on the lip masks and stick with Vasaline lip therapy. That stuff always makes my lips plump and smooth and it's cheap.
Also sleep. Sleep obviously is good for your skin and everything else. https://www.vaseline.com/us/en/products/lip-care/vaseline-lip-therapy-rosy-mini.html
I’m not getting married for another 15 months, but I was just thinking last night about what I should do for my skin. You have amazing timing!
The timeline for reference!
8 months: start vitamins, start fitness regimen, start drastic hair color changes, start new skincare routine
6 months: start monthly facials, start getting brows done
4 months: hair and makeup trials (at latest)
2 months: start tanning, start mani/pedis, teeth whitening routine, step up fitness routine, DON'T start any new skincare or use harsh treatments
2 weeks: final hair coloring, final brows, good time for dermaplaning or hydrafacial, lip masks & scrubs
1 week: drink more water, more moisturizing, no more chemical exfoliants, final waxing
Day before & day of: drink lots of water
I have been looking for a video like this and I’m so happy you posted it! Thank you! Glad I subscribed to you before, you are awesome!
Waxing takes at least three times to be effective because when shaving the hairs grow in different directions. The first two or three times it’s encouraging the hairs to grow in the same direction and you get a much smoother and longer lasting result if you’ve done it a few times.
Perfect skincare routine:
Step 1. Buy all the products
Step 2. Forget about them for months
Step 3. Freak out one month before and start slapping creams on every inch of skin as if it helps to slap on more every time, start drinking water as if you’re an elephant
Step 4. Panic break out a week before the wedding because of wedding stress
Step 5. Make an offer to the skin gods
Step 6. By a miracle have the acne back down to the deeps of the earth a day before
Step 7. Profit???
I'm one month out and this is perfect! I think I've been pretty on track and I'm happy with how my skin is looking! Thanks for making this video, Jamie! You always get me with the tear-jerker at the end reminding me that I found the one I love who thinks I'm beautiful!
