I was hoping there would be a detailing video for this. I’ve been mobile for 2 years, just got a house with a garage so I can finally control some of the random weather we get in the Canadian pnw. I saw this and thought man this would be a great fit for me. I could wall mount it in my garage, and then get 2 more brackets and move it into my mobile rig when I need too.
I’m not sure of the longevity for sure, but I still have the old trusty rigid should this go down.. my issue in my garage with the rigid is that I have to move it around so much, I think this would solve a lot of issues for me.. and then I could do the rip clean extractor kit and keep the rigid exclusively for wet/extraction
What do you think? Would it hold up to detailing in that capacity? Dry only?
I own and love their pw but completely agree on assessment. Def needs the Tim the tool man's motor.imo lacks power 4 any real dirt removal. Hopefully they read this, ask rigid what motor they use and nows it's a homerun
Awesome video and product review good friend
How cool!!
Cool. Couple observations. I think i like your shop set up way better. If i remember correctly, your vacuum is outside in its own box/area completely out of the way and no noise. I think you've made a remote start stop for it, too. Thats the best set up ive ever seen. Super. The other observation is, where did you put up the vacuum? I know your shop pretty good, and i dont recognize that area? Hmmm. I can't think of where that is? Hmmm. Very mysterious, Phil. Hi wife!
Order an extra extension from Giraffe and cut it down for an adapter. Done.
Hey Phil. Look at the new ryobi shop vac accessories at home depot. I believe you buy them individually. I also think Josh V did a review on them. They are designed to fit all shop vac and tube sizes. Be well !
Great video and review Phil definitely looks like a decent vacuum.
good find!
Thank you for this, Phil. So its not a bag system correct? Just a collection bin that you dump out?
Seems like an pretty good unit. Thanks for posting
I use this on my mobile set up and I'm happy with it. Sometimes, it gets clogged but easy to clear out. Mine doesn't have the remote so I could change the curved end to use other attachments.
I like seeing options, thanks Phil 👍😁
Nice 👌 and Mr. Sal
You could just cut down that extension to make it into an adapter. BTW those extensions sell on Giraffe's website for $32 each 😂
