Getting married in May and no not doing decorations 😅 so expensive and all about less stress
Sophie , will you please share your wedding video to youtube 🥹 sounds incredible 🩷
You are the sweetest, kindest person, and I am so happy that you had the best time <3 You deserve the world, God bless you and your family <3
The photo at 27:35 absolutely warmed my heart <333
I love watching your videos Soph! I find your voice so relaxing and calming while my baby naps
Hi Soph, I was wondering if you will be selling any of your wedding bits? I get married in July & live fairly close to you (I think if youre fairly local to your venue). Your decor is lovely 🥰 x
Your floral decorations look gorgeous I want them in my garden over summer 🤩
Your wedding was so beautiful 😍😍 do you have any footage from wedding dress shopping?
I didn’t make my own but I did get flowers from hidden botanics for myself (and accidentally ordered two bridal bouquets so I tied them together and had a huge bouquet which I loved in the end) and then we had some bud vase flowers dotted round in vases from Ali express around our venue as we just had a micro wedding just us/2 witnesses then a reception party the day after I didn’t want to pay a fortune on fresh flowers either!
This brings me back to my wedding 😭 we literally DIYd most things, and all of our save the dates, invitations, table names, the guest book – and even a frame where people could write their name on a heart and put it in – was all from Aldi! I don’t know why Aldi had a massive wedding section at the time because I’ve never seen it since, but it was such a lifesaver!
I spent hours writing out each invite, menu, place card, literally everything 😂 but it was all so worth it. I also ended up getting my bouquet and wedding shoes from Wish! Weddings don’t have to be expensive at all, doing a lot of the work yourself makes it feel that little bit more special ☺️
5 and a half years later and the time has gone by so fast 🥹
2025 Bride here, this video was so helpful! Thank you😊
I have been planning on doing dried and artificial flowers for my wedding next year, thank you for making me feel less scared and alone in wanting to do this!
i cannot express how happy i am for you. i’ve been watching you for years now and to see you happily married is so so heartwarming ❤
Spray the dried flowers with clear coat to preserve forever 🙂 BEAUTIFUL WEDDING!
Can you update us on what you choose to store/keep and how you get on selling stuff?
Getting married 10th October and our venue is the same only fresh confetti so thanks so much for the tip with the roses. I'll definitely be doing that 😊
We are getting married in November and your trick to melt the bottom of the candles so the fit in the hurricane glasses is genius!! I thought we could have to buy taller glasses but I will be doing this instead!
Tip for future brides! I repurposed the bridesmaids bouquets for our table decorations! We just had empty jars on the tables ready for our wedding venue coordinator to gather up the bouquets and pop them in before everyone went into the room after our ceremony and photos! Then they were also out of the way for the girls so they didn’t have to worry about them being in their way whilst eating. Then at the end of the night they just picked them back up out of the jars and took them home! 🙂 6:57
I’ve been waiting for this video! Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us all the diy bits you did for your wedding ❤😊
I think we call those Flowers baby’s breath in America.
