Great questions . I will be definitely asking these.
I am doing a destination wedding at San Andres island in Colombia. I would like to know what questions to ask so I can find out that they are not cheating me or making me overpay. I very well know that the money currency benefits me bc it quadruples 1:4 and that after Covid the island hasn’t recovered and it is down 75% in tourism making our 150 ppl wedding a great opportunity for them. Plus we are having 3 top Spanish singers performing . How would you guide this conversation?

Please don't worry about squeezing every single second of your nice videos. People need time to consider what you are saying. Your information is great. Trust yourself. I don't need a half a second chopped off every other sentence to believe your information. Best of luck.

Hey EXCELLENT VIDEO, Thank you so much. However, if I may add something for people who haven't seen this video yet, I'm coming from the catering world. While you might wonder what that has to do with weddings, on the contrary, it is catering that has to keep food warm, when things aren't going well, so we do have a keen sense about some things. But might I add, when asking an event/wedding planner how many events they do in a year…… there are some other things to consider. Different companies have different structures and systems. I work for one company that can only manage 4 events in a week, I work with another company that can manage 9 events in a day. Both are correct. What I recommend you listen for instead…. is a clean confident answer. A shoddy vendor who spreads themselves too inappropriately thin… will trip and stumble all over their answer and explain and validate problems and situations, you didn't ask about. A good vendor, or planner will give you confident answers, with unapologetic authority regardless of what their numbers are.

Thank you for this great video. When a wedding planner is hired, who is supposed to plan the engagement party?

Great questions. So many couples don't know what they should ask. They struggle for education and aren't sure how to approach us. Thanks for giving them the language to help them move forward.

These questions will help enhance your interviews with wedding planners ,and give you even more information to think about when selecting the best wedding planner for you! I often get asked "what questions should I ask you?" by potential clients all the time. Start with these interview questions and you'll be well on your way!
