As someone who has been a bridesmaid a handful of times, please, please, please, do not do a stack of books!! (I live with chronic pain so this is probably why this one scares me.) One, ok. More than one 😭. Also imagine how we tend to hold a few books. Did someone imagine a 1950s school girl? I mean, it is a look and it is your wedding day. Just be aware of the possibilities.

At my wedding I walked down the isle in my bedazzled sparkly suit holding my cat Big Chungus and met my gf at the alter wearing her matching suit holding her cat Little Ned, it was all a big joke about the first time we met and I regret nothing
I love the idea of an outdoor wedding with umbrellas for both sides of the wedding party. A nutral/dark color Englishman-style umbrella, for the guys, and a complimentary parasol-style umbrella for the ladies. Tell everyone on the invite to bring an umbrella.

If you don't want real flowers for the bouquets, buy some fake ones, look up a few videos on how to do it, and do it yourself. Thousand times easier.

Imagine if all the bridesmaids walked down with small dim lanterns and when the bride walks down she’s holding a larger bright lantern and there aren tiny lanterns set up that light up as she walks

I liked a lot of these but the metal moon with the flowers wrapped around it was really pretty but still simple to DIY if you needed to, something a lot of my friends are considering lately just to save a bit. The puppies are too damn cute but I'd be worried about people getting attached or taking one.
