Thank you for video!
Could you give me advise hot to fix ink, how to make waterproof envelope for using it with calligraphy in real life?
I used to do calligraphy for the Smithsonian back in the 1980s, back when calligraphy was most commonly italic . I used black ink on white envelopes. I had a light box and I put a page of guidelines under the envelope, both taped in place, so that my spacing was correct and I did not have to erase any pencil lines. Another thing I had, which I do not if they make any more, was an ink pen that you could fill and had an italic nib. I used Higgins ink and filled the pen. It saved so much time because I was not dipping or checking to be sure I didn't get too much ink on the nib. The pen gave a steady stream of ink. I love your work and am practicing your techniques to bring myself up to date with modern calligraphy. Thanks for all you do!
