Dainty Hidden Halo Engagement Ring

It’s so interesting how different parts of the world have different “ideal” carat size when it comes to engagement rings. I grew up in the states but now living in Japan, and when my bf and I started looking into engagement rings we were looking at 0.25-0.4 carat. In Japan the average carat size is 0.25-0.3 whereas in the US, it’s around 1.0-1.7. He ended up giving me a 0.39 and it definitely doesn’t look “dainty” even though Americans might consider it to be small 😂.
