Thank you for the video. Can one use anything besides water to weight the vase down if afraid of toppling?

I know this is old. Maybe you won’t see it but it was a saved video of mine: is the diameter of the vase also like 6” if that’s how big the dish you used was?” Thanks

wonderful! what size cylinder and lumie?

Why does she fill the tall vase with water, when the flower arrangement is designed in a dish with foam, it will not bring up front the vase. So it serves no purpose! I'm a professional florist, so I know! Unless she wants the water in the vase for the look of a vase full of water!

Love this! My questions: If I’m using faux flowers for this, do I still need the wet brick? Does the brick show from underneath?

This is tall centerpiece, I think they will look perfect if background is the wall.

Hi, thanks for the tutorial. I am inspired! Also, I was looking through your links to find the double-sided tape used to stabilize the plastic dish to the top of the vase, but I didn't see it. Perhaps, I overlooked. Please help with a link to that product. Thanks in advance.❤

This is amazing!! I was curious as to about how long it takes to make one centerpiece. I’m trying to figure out if I do this for my October wedding if I could do it in the morning.

Thanks in advance it’s absolutely beautiful thank you for posting this 😄

This is gorgeous with that much oasis. How far in advance would you make these with the hydrangea being so thirsty?

Hey there. Sorry if this is a silly question, but why do centrepieces generally use foam or chicken wire? Why cant I make a bouquet of flowers and put it in a vase with water? That way I can make the centrepieces ahead of the wedding

Reply
@9musess521 3 October 2024 - 8:21 pm

beautiful but unstable, based on my 30 years of flower design. without a counterweight at the bottom, it looks like it would tip over. Also, the small and shallow amount of floral foam used to hold the flowers at the top doesn’t seem adequate to me. I don’t think flowers that heavy would stay in place. I absolutely love the effect as photographed, but transporting it might cause it to tip over and the foam crumble.

Your tutorials are so good. I have watched this video multiple times. My client is someone who purchased the amazon stand with a 9" opening trying to save money. She wants to DIY or me to DIY. What are your thoughts on an 11 1/2 " Lomey bowl? I would really prefer her to go with a tall glass cylinder for stability or pay for the better stands.

I want my centerpieces this big (maybe bigger) what’s the floral recipe? Do you recommend chicken wire? I was looking at the dusty blue and cream mix on flower moxie.

So will this recipe only achieve half of the round arrangement shown? I was confused whether it ended up one sided. TIA!

Absolutely beautiful! Question, would my 6” opening on a vase work with a 6” lomey bowl or would I need a bigger bowl size?

I need to assist my sister with her center pieces. I purchased everything you have on the list! But I need you opinion please 🙂 Can I do blue and white Hydrengeas, pompons, lemon leaf, Eucalyptus, Baby roses, gerber daisy. Do you think this is too much? If so what do you recommend? We are ordering the flowers from Costco. Thank you soo much!

Questions for 30 roses , a couple Veronica , statis , will the plate hold it or it should be the bowl plate ?

Reply
@gabriellarobinson1075 3 October 2024 - 8:21 pm

If I wanted to do no greenery – just hydrangeas with leaves, roses, peonies, ranunculus (around 30 stems) would half a brick be enough support?
