DIY Wedding Arch – Easy Woodworking Project
Make this wooden arch with regular dimensional lumber! Simple design that breaks down, and can be stored relatively easily. See the link below for a sketch of dimensions to build your own!

Great project, thanks for the plans. I just built one for my son's outdoor wedding. Many many thanks
I am building this off of your plans. The top seems short can you confirm the length of the to piece please
Thanks for the great arbor plans. I just built one for my son's wedding. I did kind of overbuild it. Used 4x4s for the legs, and added a arched piece of red cedar over the top. It came out fantastic. Thanks again.😅
WOW! Can you ship it to me next?!
Is the blocking between you 1×6 just glued in place to the front piece?
Thanks for posting this! I love your video and the plan and cut list made it super simple. I built one and it turned out great.
Congrats …. new subscrip !!
looks great Im building one. Ill post Here by november wedding
After watching the video I downloaded the plans. They were quite helpful but I must point out a significant error in them. Both sheets state that the top of the arch requires 2 x 6 material. I purchased this and partly constructed the arch. Material that thick and heavy made the completed arch very heavy and also a bit top heavy. In the video I later noticed that the material being used is actually 1 x 6 not 2 x 6. There is no need for 2 x 6 material at the top and I suggest that the plans be corrected.
Your plans show a 11 1/16 bottom angle piece. In your video they are completely different. Your video shows entirely differently then your plans. Really important to show your viewers exactly what’s happening cuz the 11 1/16 blocks suck
He never replies to the questions ask. sad, i had a question too.
How long were those carriage bolts, 8" vs 10" just curious
I urgently need a bow for the 24th of this month and I still can't find someone to do it and although we have my uncle's tools I don't think I'll be able to do it 🥲
For diy arbor. Top 2×6’s or 1×6’s? Video shows 1×6. Plans show 2×6.
Hello! How umuch did this turn out to be for you?
Would you use pressure treated or regular if your staining?
Excelente, saludos cordiales desde Tepic Nayarit México
Neat! I wouldn't even have known about these types of projects before reading about them in Woody Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible, If I’m not istaken he’s still looking for proof readers.
I would love to build this for my wedding, and I went on the site to download the plans but couldn’t actually find the link to download. Could you post it?
My daughter is getting married next Saturday and would love to build this arch
Could you send me the specs
Thanks so much for this video! I used a slightly modified version of this for my own wedding and a family member loved the look so much they're borrowing it for their wedding too!
This thing is awesome! Quick question for you: I saw that the link for the Montana plug cutters comes with a set of three at 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2". How did you decide which size cutter to use for your plugs? Very cool video, great gob!

Awesome. Will be following your vid for our wedding in August. Thanks for the efficient video!
In the video you say the arch is 1×6 material but the plans call out 2×6. Which would you recommend? Thanks
Well done!
The results were really great and now you have a flat pack light duty garntry crane.
