How early can I make my bouquet ? I wanted to do it the Monday before my Friday wedding
When I click on the links none take me to florals ??
I get flowers to carry which will end up in a vase on our sweetheart table. He gets a boutonniere, and my mother and his get corsages. End of flower list. The backdrop, centerpieces and entryway will all be giant tissue paper pom poms and flowers, collapsible lanterns, and battery powered voltives. My floral budget is like $150, and we are both super cool with that. Flower girls/boy get bubble guns instead of rose petals.
We will be diy'ing our own flowers for my daughter's wedding. Thank you for adding this video. Quck question…the green styro things that you put the flowers into. Once you have the flowers in, do we need to add water to the green brick every day until the wedding? We are hoping to have florals completed on Thursday for the Saturday wedding, but want to make sure they keep, too.
How much did everything cost?
I love your energy β¨οΈ
Faux flowers mostly
Any good venue recommendations in California?
Can we get a review of Kukka Flowers next?
Oh gosh – Am i glad I found you!
LOVE FIFTY FLOWERS!
Iβm doing all of the above! Some faux some real! Thank you for the tips!!
My granddaughter is having me do all of her flowers. I'm here coordinator and her florist. Fortunately I have 2 and a half years.
Oh my God
Can you make a video about Fifty flowers that includes the bulk orders of greenery and filler flowers?
I plan to make my own centerpiece and would love to order from Fifty flowers but Iβm a little concerned that I may order too little or way too much. The website describes the geenery as coming in batches with 5-8 stems per batch but as someone with no experience in flowers itβs difficult to gage how much this is. I thought about orders a small batch of each so I can get a better idea but Iβm already working on a budget and this may be one of those things that ends up throwing off the budget. Plus Iβm sure a lot of others would find it very helpful. I couldnβt find any video that demonstrates the fifty flowers bulk greenery and filler flower order.
Would love to see you review Flower Moxie as well!
β Did I wear this shirt on purpose β¦β¦ YES β¦ YES I did β πππ
Could you show off Fifty Flowers greenery? Or maybe show how to utilize their greenery in centerpieces? (:
Our centerpieces will be floating candles with some sort of greenery & I'm not sure what to pick based off of what looks the best and lasts the longest.
Oh my god you have no idea how you just calmed me down…my current planning only allows me to get on wednesday the flowers for our saturday wedding…and you just stating that this is a good timeframe, makes me so happy…my mum is very worried that the flowers will not look fresh anymore…thank you soooo much for sharing this video.
I'm doing the flowers myself for my daughters wedding.
I DIYed my flowers with bouquets from the grocery store! Honestly, it was not stressful and one of my favorite memories/pieces (besides marrying my husband) of my wedding! Itβs super simple, cost effective, and even in July they stayed fresh and cool multiple days before the wedding. I ran through all the options (a florist, Costco or Samβs club, online flowers, wholesale warehouses) before realizing how simple, fun, and cheap it is.
Where's your second video for the other flowers??????
Iβm hiring a florist!! I wanted to do my own bouquets and my bridesmaids but bc itβs out of state I just donβt think Iβll have enough timeππ
You just saved my life with this video, Jamie, THANK YOU!
More cost savvy solution: Go to Trader Joes! Fifty Flowers is expeeeeeensive!!! Maybe a cost comparison video could be in the works?
As if sheβs not so cute and excited!!!! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
PROFESSIONAL FLORIST HERE!
I definitely understand everyone's need to stay within a budget, and did lots of DIYs for my own wedding. I may be biased here, but if you can't afford full-service florals, consider at least getting bouquets/boutonnieres/and any focal point flowers (i.e. ceremony arch, reception backdrop, sweet heart table, etc…) through a professional. Those will be the most photographed flowers on your wedding day. You can get by with DIYing centerpieces or any accent flowers like aisle decor, sign-in table arrangement, bar or dessert table pieces, etc…
Also note… some florists may not like the idea of half DIY/half their work because if your centerpieces aren't top notch, they wouldn't want it to reflect poorly on their work, but most of the time, if you find the right florist, they're more than happy to work with you and suggest affordable alternatives.
And if DIYing flowers isn't your thing, consider DIYing non floral centerpieces like lanterns/candles on half or 2/3 of your tables and going to a florist for the rest. It's a quick way to lower costs and still get a professional look.
I have that shirt too! Accidentally bought it twice because I love it so much π π
