I have one question?
What happens when a high end client, serves a NDA contract. B/c it would be nice to have pics of an event when you have certain entertainers invited to the wedding to boost one social media platform.
Is there a way to get around it?
Just curious, are DJs expected to breakdown each provision with the client then have them sign? Or say hey heres the contract go ahead read it and then sign when you're ready. Trying to think of best way to word put this on to clients when theyre calling me to book.
Just started DJing regularly less than a year ago – have a weekly residency and have opened myself up for weddings this upcoming season, already have 2 confirmed and 3 more in the works. Great overview of a basic DJ Contract. Using a contract helps the parties to have a better understanding of what is expected. You are correct that you should not assume the other party has read the contract – so go over each paragraph with the client.

Ok, I was like "What" :/ but wow. that was so helpfull.
Recently I have been watching lots of videos about getting Sponcers, products and channel sponcers. Do you have any tips on this. In this video you say "everyone loves free stuff". But from my failed attemps to attract products and sponcers, the F word does not go down well. A couple of days a go I was approached and asked to put forward a proposal. and although I thought I put together a good one, it did not lead anywhere (for now, as there was other hurdles). But a Template would be very helpfull. Something to use as a check list. Do's and Don'ts. Because I must be doing something wrong. In my YouTube Community, I'm heading to the top. I am growing faster than similar channels, I get more Subs per day, and lots and I mean lots more views per week. If you search "Violin Tab", I dominate 75% of the top results (I have held the top spot since christmas, so YouTube must think I'm good). I don't like to blow my own whistle, But I think it's because my content is better than any similar channels, I'd like to think that my skills are better, or it's just that I have a higher standard that I aim for. At 10K Subscribers and Half a Million viewers per month. I thought brands would be throwing themselves at me by now 🙁
