How do i get my top section of rekordbox (the bits showing the beat grids etc) to move super slowly like yours?
Great video – really helped me get some goals in place for my practice sessions. What are your thoughts on using beat sync? I find that nudging the incoming track to line it up takes time away from making the transition more interesting for the audience (since you are manually beat matching in your headphones). Using beat sync gives me another 5-6 seconds to smooth out the blend.

Do you need serato pro to isolate acapella
No one moves the cross fader anymore when mixing songs I guess..I’m noticing it’s left in the middle ,while adjusting those small knobs.
i think it would be better to use two songs that actually sound different to each other to make it clearer.

I have never DJ'd in my entire life, but i'll come up with songs in my head. I never knew the official terms for what I was doing, but I have been adding acapellas and drop mixing in my head for years. I can't wait to try this all out for real.
