I had an experience with the same type of environment—white ceiling, walls, and hardwood floors. But when I used the same settings you mentioned, I was getting an unusually yellow color and dark exposure. Do you have any idea what might have been wrong?
800 iso won’t give grains ???
And if the reception is in the evening that room will have warm lighting, requiring you to CTO the flash and use a similarly warm WB … if you want your subjects and ambient surroundings to work together.
To be honest? I do not like the pictures. With this perfect room. Why use the flash?

Is this all our dream venue for flash 🥲
Why ISO 800 though?
Black foam thingy…works every time!
What did you set your white balance to?
Why is your flash set to Radio Transmitter?
Great vid thanks
What flash your using?
Maybe dumb question but is the ISO 800 set on the flash or the camera body? Thank you in advance for your response love your content!
Hello John, do you use the Godox V860ii in the movie?
I am learning photography.
I bought used Sony a7s2.
New 28-75 f2.8 lens
I need to get my first flash.
I want it to be portable and lightweight so I can take it with me while travelling.
I will be doing street photography and portraits/people.
Please suggest if I should go for on camera speed light or off camera strobe.
And what flash model do you suggest?
Thanks for the tips man great content
Someone else's settings are completely irrelevant
homie hasn't noticed that everyone has raccoon eyes with this method
Im just starting into photography with flash just in this 2 months.. i never thought that anything like small space and white ceiling/wall could be a main role to have a nice picture
No need for the magsphere. The flash bounced of that white ceiling. Tip to even better lighting, take the magsphere off and direct your flash 45 degrees to a wall, and get nice side softbox lighting going on.
What is the flash that you use? Thank you 😊
Nice one, but what about the aperture number, and shutter speed?
Iso 800 vs 100?
Amazing? Average at best.
You would be better off using the little foamy thing on your flash in this reception room.
Depends in camera …
I'd rather use a Rogue Flash Bender. It's lighter, and more creative options if you know how to also bounce flash. the magsphere just sends light all over which isn't a good thing in my humble opinion.
Thanks
What flash are you using?
awesome video bro ! , i was wondering white is youre white balance for that ?
Magmod for the win. Also you rock of course.
Hi. I will be photoshooting my friend’s wedding and im a beginner. I’m so confused about what light gear to buy because the ceremony is going to be in a restaurant which is up in the sky with a scenery box all with mirrors and i have to be shooting against the big windows. What do you suggest I should buy?
Do you use any off camera flash at all during weddings? Just curious 😊
why iso 800?
Make sure your lens is wide open so only one people in the shot is in focus 😂
I completely agree
It’s a beautiful thing!
Damn! This is useful
