Transylvanians would steal like everything: the bride's bouquet, the bride's shoe, the bride herself. This is usually done by the bridesmaids and groomsmen who can then ask for something in return.
In Jewish weddings it is traditional for the groom to step on a cup (or light blub if your my dad)
the wooden goose thing is so wholesome cuz when a goose finds a mate they stay together forever and dont go on to anyone else
In my family Northern Ireland
The bride and groom get food and drinks etc and them they get drove around to all the places that have had a place in there life.
In Bangladesh, turmeric paste is applied on the face and body of the bride and groom a day before the wedding by the close family members and friends to make their skins glow on the wedding. And we also apply henna tattoos on the bride's palm to elbow and both bride and groom exchange floral garlands to show that they have accepted each other in front of the family.
In Singapore and I think just generally in chinese culture (?), we have this thing called the gatecrashing. It’s like the groom is supposed to prove how much he loves the bride by participating in some sort of games with his groomsmen such as drinking nasty concoctions made by bridesmaids and other crazy stuff before he can see the bride.
I love Japanese weddings cuz the kimonos are gorgeous
In the Unite States it is a tradition to think that the rest of the world marries just like we do.
It is also a tradition to look down upon colorful wedding dresses and tuxes, or at least those that are not white & black, and think someone is crazy if they dress like a bridesmaid or groomsmen when they're the ones getting married.
Also bridesmaids usually wear ugly, simple, out of theme dresses.

In Indian weddings they also put a tumeric paste on the bride's body
In India The groom's Shoes gets stolen by the bridesmaids when they are performing marriage. then the bridesmaids asks for a lot of money from the groom in order to give back the shoes. And it is soo mucch fun. There is a song joote do paise lo from movie hum aapke hai kaun. You can watch that if you want to see more abt Indian culture
applying henna on bride's hand is totally a South Asian culture, not only in India..😞
PAKISTAN CHINA AND KOREA 😍😍
My favourite wedding tradition is that some times the groom and groomsmen must play some ridiculously hilarious games made by the bridesmaids
Even in bangladesh and pakistan the brides have to always get their hand painted with henna not just india
you got it wrong for India. It is me he did designs with the groom's name hidden in it. The challenge is for the groom to find his name.
how fascinating that almost every thing here gets used in the moroccan culture as well as the china chair the henna the candy confetti
MAURITIUS
One of the enchanting Rituals of a hindu Wedding in Mauritius is the application of Henna which is the bridal mehendi, applied on the bride’s hand and feet, which acc to hindu beliefs symbolizes the start of a new love and a new life. The bride will be dressed in red saree which is the auspicious color for the bride to bring her happiness in her new wedded life, while the groom will be dressed in a nice sherwani. The wedding ceremony will be conducted by a hindu Priest during which they will exchange floral garlands signifying their acceptance of one another.
the groom steps on an egg and then the bride washes the groom's feet

In Chile you get drunk af

I am Bengali and traditionally we do not apply henna instead we apply a red coloured dye like substance in different patterns on our hands and feet. it really looks very beautiful.
In Balkan Countries on wedding day when groom comes to pick up bride he has to pay to her relatives and then to get her.
Also there is a tradition that male couisn or friend of the bride masks himself in bride so they sold him to the groom 😂😂 of course they later give the actual bride. 😂
A @necklace of @flower happen in @India #during the @Hindu @married not at #Pakistan @married or any @Muslim @married – 🌼🌻🌺🌷🍀🌹🌸
