Fujifilm GFX 100s Wedding Photography Course | Full Wedding Photography Behind the Scenes

I decided to shoot a full wedding day with only the Fujifilm GFX 100s! Fujifilm wedding photography has always been a huge passion of mine but everyone questions if you can shoot a wedding with a crop sensor. Everyone always thinks you need a full frame camera. But what about more than full…

Would you shoot a whole wedding with only medium format cameras?

Just watched it all. About to shoot a wedding for the first time with gfx 50s2. Thank you so much for all you gave in this video. Even though things are done a little differently in my country, I picked up plenty of stuff that can useful. Thanks again!

I like when I decide to invest time in a video and at 2.2 minutes your lens choice are almos the same ones I have theorized to use. I'd just use a 63mm instead of the 80mm.

What a beautiful couple and a great open vibe of the whole wedding! I’m binge watching all these videos as I’m getting more into event photography and a lot of your tips can apply to all events, not just weddings!

I am new to the channel. What I love so far is that even when you make a "gear" video, I forget that it is about gear and learn more about the art of wedding photography. You are a great teacher.

I think 50mm would be the safest bet.

john have you tried having a low power off camera flash on your flat lay details

Reply
@user-wv2ih9pe2u 22 October 2024 - 9:55 pm

For your flash during the reception are you using ttl or manual and setting exposure for the room then using the flash power to compensate

Great video, never seen a video of a full wedding shoot. I could never do that, too many things happening, and tight schedule to capture them. Definitely not the way I shoot. But it’s nice to see some people are great at doing it.

Hey John, great videos for sure. Question…why such a low aperture with formals? Like 1.7 or 2.8 with two people? They look in focus for sure, but with such a short DOF I'm afraid of losing focus (have a wedding Sunday, I've done a lot of them, but usually at a sweet spot of maybe 5.6 or better). You have a secret I don't know about? 🙂

I have learned so much. Thank you for sharing. I am getting a degree in photography, and my only worry is talking to people. So this helps. Still, I dont have my camera bc i am understanding all the different ones, so it is hard to pick just now.

Hi! I Just watched this great video and I want to know in reception time you are using a camera off flash! The question is: are your second shooter is connecting with the same off flash too ? Thank you!
