Pete Matheson, you've just earned your self a new subscriber sir. Keep up the great work! Greetings from Monterrey, Mexico 🌄
I cleared out/deleted everything and it still says I need to pay for more storage.
What happens if I try to upload one bite of data. Would it really be unlimited then. It's basically a fraction of the entire data or knowledge on the internet. And if that's the case how about I tried to prove its unlimited by uploading 20x of random data to Google Cloud to truly see if it's unlimited. That would far exceed everything currently on the internet.
This is not $15 a month when i went to check out its literally $54 a month or $560 a year im not doing that.
Can I use 6TB storage in one drive for 1 user ??

Thanks for the Info …but are you the actor from Banshee…
I have my Truenas 90 TByte storage ~3.000 USD it has been running for 8 years now. So this made it cuts down to 40 USD per month.

Lame ad
If you're going to review Sync on their request, then your title should be clearer. I feel like you've tricked me 😕
Why Why- so I shouldn't pay Google but pay Sync-
Is it an ad for Sync?
– Google's claim of offering "unlimited storage" has been debunked as misleading. While they used to advertise it, recent changes to their pricing page have removed any mention of unlimited storage and replaced it with the option to request more storage, indicating there are limitations.
– Sync, a competitor, provides a viable alternative with their Sync Pro Teams Plus Unlimited plan. Priced at $15 per user per month and with no user limits, this plan offers genuinely unlimited storage without hidden terms or conditions.
– Google retains access to user data stored on their platform, potentially allowing access to law enforcement agencies. In contrast, Apple and Sync offer encrypted data protection, ensuring that only authorized users can access the data.
– Sync stands out by backing up data for a minimum of 180 days on all plans and 365 days on their Teams Plus Unlimited plan. This means users can retrieve deleted files within that timeframe, a feature lacking in Google's service.
– Additionally, Sync's service includes features such as role-based access control, integration with cross-platform apps like Microsoft Office, and scalability. While there are minor drawbacks such as interface preferences and limited support for certain two-factor authentication methods, Sync offers a compelling solution for those seeking reliable and genuinely unlimited cloud storage.
hi
I use sponsorblock mod, which automatically skips ads and sponsorings in YT videos and 2/3 of the videos progressbar is marked green(green will be skipped).
Secret no. 4 : there is no such thing as "unlimited" in the reality sense, as any company who offers such service will ultimately tell you in event of dispute, or they tell the judge in court.
Company cannot offer something they do not have. All data centers have a limit of hard disks. But let's hope we don't get to that point where we have to find out.
I’m a cloud user ( at least until now)
And tbh google gSuite which was before workspace was clearly stating you are buying unlimited space
After that workspace came, and it was just a time and they forced us to be opted to a workspace plan with discount ( which actually higher price and less features)
Maximum 5tb per user now
But there was still a hope
Shared folder was accepting 400k file regardless to the space
Not too long and they limited your whole subscription with total number of user’s limit including shared folder ( and they increased the price)
Just don’t ever trust a cloud service as the only way to store your data
Because at the end, at any time
They will change their service , change prices
And your large data uploaded over the years will be like a hostage that obligates you to stay and accept
… never again
Duh!
Pretty sure that if I'd come along with my org and try to put a Petabyte in there unlimited wouldn't mean unlimited anymore.
A five minute video with 3 minutes of sponsored content…. No wonder extensions like SponsorBlock exist.
It's fine to have sponsors that finance your video, but currently there is barely any video and mostly just sponsors.
